The drumsticks are so fun to play with, especially in the dark, or a low light room. My only problem is that they sound different from regular wooden sticks. Yes, it is to be expected, and yes, these are probably more of an electric drum kind of stick, but that doesn't mean they aren't fun to play with!

If you want to play with lightsaber sticks, BUY THESE! If you want to play the drums correctly with real sticks, then don't buy these. lol No these don't suck, but they bounce will take a bit to get used to. I haven't played live with them yet, but at practice they aren't bad. but remember you are getting a full plastic drumstick with a small red light in the butt end. The bounce is horrible, but any decent drummer can figure out how to make em work for a good light show. 3 stars! :)

Fun for kids and beginners; good price

By Patrick

from Pinckney, MI

One stick is more sensitive than the other and requires more force to light up, however, these are fun drum sticks for the kids. Price was good since it shipped free to GC Canton.

One Stick Did not work When Delivered

By Kimberly

from Pendleton, KY

The light up sticks are very cool and pretty, but upon delivery one was very dim and when arriving home it would hardly light up. When a product is ordered and shipped it should be ensured by the company I ordered it from that they have NEW batteriers in them. Disapointed.

Fun effect, changes your sound.

By Jennifer

from Dayton, Nv

They are fun to play and add a cool effect to a show. They sound nothing like a wood stick and your toms will sound a bit tinny with these sticks. However I like the way they sound when hitting the cymbals. Also, they do have a lot more bounce to them as well. Definitely worth having, just be prepared for a different sound and feel.

Firestix

Some of the coolest sticks i've ever played with! These sticks make it easy to have a very entertaining drum solo bringing in many oh's and ah's from the crowd. I'm also suprised at the durability of these sticks, its like there almost indestructible. Definatly a really cool product!

These are some of the best sticks

By Jeff Gustafson

from Benton Harbor Michigan

A lot of reviews are telling you not to use these for gigging but I'm hear to tell you they are some of the best sticks I've ever used. They hold up to my hard hitting on the set and the only con I have is the plug falls out and then the sticks don't light up. The other con is that they are slippery and require drummers tape. I've never broken one yet since I started using these for the last 6 months. They take a little to get used to as they flex more then a wood stick but after coming off Carpal Tunnel surgery in 09 I won't ever play with a wooden stick again. They don't break.
