Overview

In designing this beautifully crafted, exotic wood J Bass, Fender incorporated a host of features guided by Victor himself. The sleek body has a koa top over rosewood and mahogany. Noiseless pickups add warmth and lows that complement the body's natural clarity and brightness. The circuitry has been tweaked with pre-shape, boost, and EQ settings to enhance the unique sonic nature of the exotic woods. For maximum headroom, the circuit is powered by an 18-volt supply. Like holding a beautiful women!

By Skip

from Bethlehem, PA

Of all the basses I've played this has got to be the best sounding and looking 5 string I have held or played since I started in 1974. Victor has dressed this monster like no other in the Fender's lineup. It has it's own sound. I could not put it down. So I purchased this and ordered Victor's fretless as well. It's like holding on to something not given to mortals or like a beautiful woman that has given you her heart freely, outstanding!

The Search Is Over

By Anthony B. Rucker

from Largo, MD

I have owned basses from B.C.Rich to Tobias and Ibenez ect. But my search is over. This bass gives you any tone you need. I play on a gospel praise team, a national renown blues artist and I have my own R&B Funk band and this bass does it all.

Great Bass!

By Wild Bill

from Joshua, Texas

I purchased this bass about a year ago and I Love this thang! No problems and has the best tone and feel of any bass I have picked up! You can dial up, I believe any tone that you crave. That 'B' string will rattle your bones. It is also looks better than my first girl freind and I plan to keep it alot longer than I did her. I have owned Music Man, Peavy, Precision, Carvin and I wouldn't trade this one for any of them. As you can probably tell, I like this bass alot! If your looking for a keeper that you will enjoy from now on, this is the one.

Sweet Bass`

By Kingsbury61

from Danielson CT

I special ordered this bass, it took 8 months, my salesman let me take a new music man 5 home until mine came in. I played it for a few months, that was a nice bass. After that I talked to Rob (salesman) he told me someone traded a Victor Bailey, I took that for a few months. What a nice bass. Now I have my own and it has great tones and action. This is my 3rd jazz bass in my colection, and by far the best. It beats my Carvin and my Ibanez. The only thing is the case it comes with needs a little more pading because it fits loose in it, I had to wedge a polishing cloth at the bottom of the bass so it would fit snug. BUY IT!! U wont be sorry.
