Overview

The Fender TB-600C bass combo is a versatile amp for professional bassists. Combines a 2 x 10" cab with an amp head that creates a thick, natural, and balanced tone that will sit fat in a live or studio mix. Based on the critically acclaimed TBP-1 tube bass preamp, the key to the Fender TB-600 amp's creamy tone is a passive tone stack, the backbone of classic Fender guitar and bass amps. This passive tone stack has an interactive nature, with each knob affecting the others, resulting in big, warm notes that represent the natural sound of the bass guitar being played.

The Fender TB-600C combo amp delivers 400W to its internal 8 ohm load, 600 watts when paired with any 8 ohm external speaker cabinet. The head portion is rack mounted and can be pulled out for use as part of a larger system. However, if you leave it inside its enclosure, you're getting the sound of 2x10" Fender Special Design Cast Frame Eminence 16 ohm speakers and a Foster horn. So, use the Fender TB-600C as a high powered, professional combo amp, add another cabinet to increase its power, or pull the head for separate use. The choice is yours, but you'll win any way you go with the Fender TB-600C Bass Combo Amplifier.

The Redhead lives

By Obiwan

from Norwalk, California

A few years ago, Fender acquired SWR Engineering. For all intents and purposes, this amp is a Super Redhead in Fender clothing. Although it has Eminence drivers, this amp line is by far the best Fender amp you can buy. It has a highly organic and very effective preamp that sounds great and is deceptively loud for its size. If you like the sound of a Super Redhead, well here it is. A great amp.

Bass Power

By Dave

from Austin, TX

I played on one of these at my local guitar center and was pretty satisfied. It got my insides shaking. The cabinet was very solid and the casters seem to come in hand for moving it around. This is not your normal Fender Bass Amp line. This the gig/tour able stuff. It put out a good amount of sound for its 2x10 and that horn will allow you to cut through with no problem. I didn't try to remove the head because I didnt know it had that function but its great if you wanna upgrade to another head later down the road.

MASSIVE THUMP

By Crash

This is an awesome amp. Provide miles of effortless volume, and then delivers a suprising variety of tone. This can be your every gig amp. From hard rock tonight, to jazz tomorrow night, to praise on Sunday morning. It will do it all.

pretty good

By Jerome Lawrence

from burtonsville md

i went to an audition at a church dowtntown silver spring. i dont like how heavy this is. its a monstrosity to take anywhere if one where to gig with it.but on the other hand i get a nice tone from the preamp using a cheap bass(gsr 200 ibanez. id say this is an amp if you want to keep it stationary.
