i tried this guitar out in a store, and fell in love with it INSTANTLY. the sound quality is amazing, it holds a tune well, and was probably one of the most beautiful instruments ive ever seen. i bought the transparent blue, and i couldnt love it more. a great quality instrument, and a WONDERFUL value for the price. not to mention, it sounds great through an amp too. clearly, fender has perfected the art of guitar-making. i wouldnt change a thing about it. =]

Overall not a bad acoustic for the dollar. The action is okay, the overall tone is little on the bright side, not much on the mid frequencies. I got the sunburst and wished it had more dark colors like the advertisement and less reddish tones. Also the flaming was a lot less pronounced than the one in the picture, oh well itۡll get me through the days while Iۡm deployed.

Just Okay!

By David Gorny

from Guntersville AL

I have only been playing the guitar for a year so I am hardly an expert, but I think I have the ability to give an opinion as to what sounds good and what doesn't. When the sales person at the Huntsville AL Guitar Center recommended the T-Bucket, I gave it serious consideration. Then a customer who over heard the conversation, and who had obvious skills, told me he also thought the T-Bucket was a good guitar in its price range. I then played the guitar with and without amplification and noticed a slight buzzing sound when strumming chords. I brought it to the sales persons attention and he basically told me it was user error. I must admit that when he played I could hear no buzzing sounds. Besides the buzzing noise they said was in my head, I liked everything else about the guitar so I bought it. When I got home the buzzing seemed even more pronounced. I had a guitar lesson planned that day so I allowed my teacher to take a look at it. He confirmed that it wasn't a problem with the way I was playing but thought that the action was set too low causing the buzzing noise. I gave him the guitar to fix but I am a little miffed that I will have to pay extra to fix a problem that the GC should have repaired. I would have brought the guitar to the GC to be fixed but it's over a hour away from where I live. Hopefully shimming the bridge will take care of the problem but if not I will be forced to return the guitar for a refund.

Great Guitar

By Jaime Garza

from San Antonio

The quality and performance of this guitar is phenomenal for the price. I've had mine for about half a year, but it is very impressive. The sound is warm yet bright and crisp. The look well, ipurchsed the sunburst, and it is beautiful, i just wouldnt recommend this color because you can see the scratches, thats all. But overall this guitar does what it is made for.

loveit

By sam skariah

i really looked into a guitar that i could have...you know to the get the most out of the budget that i had in mind....had my top 5 picks which inckuded fender t-bucket 300CE, fender sonoran, yamaha apx 500II....when i got this guitar in my hand and i played it...i immediately fell in love with the tone....and when i compared to to the others i had selected...this stood out...yamaha sounded shallow when compared to this... anyways...now its been close to a week since i've got this guitar and i love it...i got a sunburst coloured fender...and people who have seen/heard the guitar love it as well..even the sales men were like this is one of the best guitars in this range which outperforms others which are even costlier that this u=guitar....a great bargain...you wont be disappointed....i'd say go for it!!!!

AMAZING!!

By Joshua Priest

from Woonsocket, RI

I played this guitar at my local guitar center, and was amazed. And my reaction was no different when i received it for my birthday, this guitar is just flat out business. The sunburst finish is beautiful, no noticeable flaws on it, the action is great, one thing i will say is the factory strings are kind of jank but thats too be expected. I have been playing for about a year and a half now so i wasn't looking for an expensive guitar, and i didnt expect such greatness out of this guitar for what it is priced at, its definitely not a taylor but it defititely gets the job done! GREAT JOB FENDER!! (and thank you for making my dream guitar)

Coming to life

By Carter Porter

from Springfield, Mo

This guitar is amazingly suprizing. At first, out of the box it sounded pretty decent. I wore out the factory installed strings so I put a set of Elixir custom light nanoweb strings on it. What a good choice. Now that this guitar is broke in, it has AMAZING tone. The low notes are extremely nice sounding now, and the mids and highs to me are even better. Great action so far for my style of playing. I have played several Gibson, Martin, and Taylor guitars and I would seriously put this guitar up to them soundwise any day. The electrics are great, nice tuner. Oh, and in a drop D tune, the lower end is awesome. This guitar is good and broke in and you can just feel it throughout the entire instrument the quality of sound and tone it truely has with the Elixir strings on it. Only downfall of this guitar is the tuners. If you try to tighten them up when restringing it, they like to break. Get yourself a good set of tuners and play this guitar for many years.

Would give it 6 stars

By Ellen Casey

from Avon, co

Okay, so yes, amazing guitar for the price, hate that, amazing guitar, period. If you are looking at it, buy it. You will be so happy with your decision. Fender has provided an inexpensive guitar that has the craftsmanship of more expensive guitars. I can't see ever replacing mine. The action is so easy, but without any buzz. The sound is warm and full, and my roommate nearly flipped when I plugged this guitar in, the sound with my little frontman amp was mindblowing. When my friends come over, they all pick it up and leave me playing their guitar. Everyone falls in love with this guitar. I bought it in blue because I have always wanted a blue guitar, and it is a looker!

Recorded Great!

By Kenneth Sturgill

from Seattle

Love it's full tones & resonation the fishman picks up the deep springiness and it pulled it off in my recording on garage band. Feels great in my hands, action great, making tough cords no problem and great looking... Only draw back no pick guard. That aside price wise, sound for the bucks 5 star!
