Great strat

Comments about Fender Standard Stratocaster Left Handed Electric Guitar:

I just started playing so I originally bought a Squier Strat as I didn't know if I would like playing guitar. After a week of major fret buzz I broke down and upgraded to the Brown Sunburst Mexican Strat. I know guitars are hand made so if you get the Friday afternoon guitar (when everyone is rushing to get done) it may not be as good as the Tuesday morning guitar. Well, I must have gotten a Tuesday morning guitar, made by someone who really cared about his or her work. This Strat is great. There is no fret buzz, and while I don't know a lot about how various guitars sounds compared to each other, I can tell you that, plugged into my Fender Champion Amp, this guitar sounds great. It was well worth the extra money to get something I will enjoy playing.

Comments about Fender Standard Stratocaster Left Handed Electric Guitar:

Got my Guitar about a week ago and so far I couldn't be happier with the product. I considered getting a Telecaster but im by far happy with the decision that I made. The guitar sounds great and the Rosewood fretboard looks even better.

Wonderful Guitar

Comments about Fender Standard Stratocaster Left Handed Electric Guitar:

I've had my standard Lefty Fender for about 6 years and loved it since I brought it home. Has a good amount of twang and the single coils work well, great tone buttery on the neck pickup and pinch harmonics are no problem on the bridge pickup. The tremolo bar is your standard Fender fare not much range to it but it does work, with the neck set up properly and the tremolo set up right it doesn't ruin your tuning overly quickly. The neck is awesome, little thin at the bottom for my taste but I still love it. It plays anything from death metal to country music with ease. I highly recommend it!

Nice guitar

By STANLEY BRIDGES

from Exeter, Ca

Comments about Fender Standard Stratocaster Left Handed Electric Guitar:

It is better than I expected. The only complaint, and it is hard to complain because I expected it, is the single coil hum. Not too bad as it is only audible when I use a pick up alone. In the 2nd and 4th position which is two pick ups on, I can't hear the hum. I had it set up at Guitar Center Visalia by their tech Josh and he did a fine job. I am left handed but play with the guitar strung right handed. He did this for me as well as block the tremolo. Sorry, not a tremolo fan as I have a hard time tuning and staying in tune with it functional. Nice Strat tone and very playable. Glad I bought it and would recommend to anybody who doesn't have a grand or more to spend on the American models.
