Comments about Fender Standard Stratocaster Left Handed Electric Guitar:

Playing through a vox ac15, this strat sounds amazing. the 3 pickups alone are fantastic for most music styles (i'm not really in love with the 2 and 4 positions but thats just my preference). It's built very solid, beautiful finish (mine was the arctic white), no loose parts or anything, and surprisingly stays in tune well even after lots of play. frets came all level, set up actually perfect for me, and i could play it fine right out of the box. I've had it for 3 years now, and after not initially preferring strats, its grown to become my number 1 guitar (of the 3 that i have). It's incredibly versatile, and exceeded my expectations for sure. It's a bit heavy, but that might be because i can only compare it to a tele and a les paul 100. If anything, i prefer the heavy feel though, it doesnt feel flimsy or anything like that. Sounds nice and bright and clear with old strings, and then mellows out in a nice way with old strings (i use ernie ball 9's). It also works great with pedals (i can easily channel my inner hendrix and frusciante with some fuzz if i want with this when i'm not playing for my church). All in all, if you're a lefty and you cant dish out the cash for the american version which would obviously be better, this is still fantastic and you won't be disappointed that you couldnt get the upper level. i'm completely content with this one. never need to get another strat, thats for sure
