There isnt much variety for us lefties out there and and Ive played as many lefty guitars that I can get my hands on. let me start by saying, cmon, it's a Fender Start, dont expect killer distortion from it... this guitar has realy great clean tone but the awsome thing about it compared to other guitars in it's price range is its lead tone... when on the Bridge pickup, you can get a really tight sound fron it witch can produce some very nice harmonics... when on the neck single coil pickup, you get the clearest and smoothest tone of a guitar in this price range. I was amazed how clear it sounded. I would seriously consider buying this guitar if it produced a better distortion tone.... If a Fender of this price sounds this good I can only Imagine how a more expensinve Fender would sound.......Too bad they dont give us lefties much variety.
I love my standard strat. I have more expensive guitars, but I always come back to my standard strat. So versatile and dependable. I like les pauls and SG's, but I love my Statocaster. A Rock n' Roll icon.
I got this guitar for my second guitar. I was debating over a Fender Tele, or this Strat. I chose this Strat. I has not let me down. I love this guitar. So if you have any sense at all you'd but this guitar!!!
this is my first electric guitar after playing acoutic for 6 months now, and i absolutely love it! the feel of it is great and it plays sooo well. i tried out some epis and such, but this guitar just called to me. I love Clapton and SRV and blues and classic rock, and this sounds great with it. i can make it sound great for any song. anyways, if you are a lefty, then this will be a great investment for you.
I have had my Standard Strat for over 5 years now, and it still rocks out loud. If people want an electric guitar, they have got to go for Fender. The standard strat was the 6th guitar I have gotten from my relatives, and I cant thank them enough for all the support they gave me about my passion for music. This guitar is top of the line quality, and its always there when I need it. You can't thank this guitar enough, and the tone is just flawless.
I currently own a Gibson Les Paul, but many times I find myself wanting a different tone. Something clean and not crunchy. I have been playing for 2 years and I tried the Fender a couple times. I knew that this was the guitar that I was looking for. Great tone and it came out of a Marshall amp. I am currently waiting to find a store near me to purchase it. Definitely get this guitar for the price that it is at. Awesome guitar.
Bought it a year after buying my Fender acoustic and was so excited. Classic looks, great playability, perfect value. Its so easy to play with it and it looks awesome in midnight wine. Problem is everyone else owns one. I wish I would have gotten an Epiphone Les Paul. In terms of lefty electrics in this range, I would say the Les Paul ranks first and the Strat comes in a close second(partly because everyone has one). Almost impossible for anyone to be disappointed with a Strat.
this is the perfect guitar if you can afford a little more than a squier. i was trying to chose between two different guitars, the ibanez lefty and this one. when i first played this one i just fell in love with it. this guitar is a great show guitar. (but i suggest getting a white one)
I have owned This Guitar For About 5 years now. I love it. I also have a Les Paul Studio, but I like playing my Strat more than anything. I did modify it a little by installing a Seymour Duncan "Screamin'Demon" pick up in the bridge position to give it more bite for leads. The guitar is light and feels great. I play it through a vintage Fender Twin. You can't find a better guitar for the money in my opinion
I just started playing guitar, and I knew right away that a Fender was going to be my first choice for my starting guitar. This Fender is excellent for that clean sound that makes learning how to play very enjoyable. I strongly suggest picking this bad boy up if your looking for a starting guitar, or if your already awesome at playing, and you want to buy another guitar.
This is a great guitar for many genres of music. The clean sound is, of course, excellent. With the neck pickup, it is easy to get that Red Hot Chili Peppers clean sound, or with a fuzzface you can get a Hendrix sound. It also plays very nicely and the 5 way pickup select allows for a nice range of sounds. The only place it does not shine is with distortion. But thats what they make HSS strats for. Overall a great guitar for clean and overdriven blues sounds.
