Cons

    Best Uses

Comments about Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Plus Top with Locking Tremolo, Rosewood Fingerboard:

I've had this guitar(tobacco burst) for almost 4 years and I may have a one of a kind, mine plays and feels better than some American strats I've played. The set up it came with was near perfect and the HSS configuration allows tones from the smoothest of jazz and blues to metal; and it does it all very well. my biggest gripe with it is the Floyd rose, I had not had a guitar with this tremolo system before so I didn't know what I was getting into. Besides the time consuming effort needed to tune and restring (which doesn't detract from my experience), the Floyd rose adds another element to the already diverse range of abilities this strat offers. Paired with a fender tube amp, you cant go wrong with it.
