I've been waiting for this

By Himitsu8a

from Austin, Tx

Roland OBVIOUSLY want us to buy acessory footpedals. Only the synth volume control is functional?!?! I've owned 4 (ROLAND) MIDI guitars and this is the best. Latency (for MIDI) seems low and the internal sounds that I bought it for (Mandolin, 12 string, & electric sitar) all RAWK! The VG-99 is game-changing. Combined with the Fender controller, the VG-99 is all the guitar you need.

Excellent

By David Schugar

from Las Vegas, NV

An excellent guitar. I gave 4 stars only because I have nothing to compare the Roland Strat to. I added a VG-99 pick-up to a custom Tele and it works very well but the Roland Strat sounds clearer and plays a litle faster. I also like the and/or option feature for Roland/regular pick ups. I hope to see other Fender guitars come Roland ready.
