This bass guitar was a gift for my doughter, she is really happy with her bass guitar!! The building and sound quality is great!!
The bass guitar gods were in a good mood with this lefty Jazz that I purchased online just over a month ago. First, the two-tone sunburst is classic beauty, especially with the tort pick guard I added. Second, it plays like an absolute dream. I had a 2006 60th Anniversary Jazz, but there's no comparison. The fact that Fender has upped the ante with their Squier brand has obviously forced them to make needed improvements (hotter pickups, for example) to the MIM line. You can hear the difference too. My son has a 2011 VM 70s Jazz, and while it's a great value, it feel like this Jazz.If you've got the extra cash do yourself a favor and give the Mexi Jazz a try before you spend for anything else. I love mine!
