Really Nice

By ROB BEIZER

from Ridgefield, CT

I've been playing bass for 30 years. This was my first fretless, so i wanted to be frugal. There is real value in this bass. I adjusted the relief in the neck, and lowered the action slightly. I'm getting "mwah" when I want it, and I'm loving the way the bass feels. Eventually I'll drop in some beefier pickups, but at the end of the day, this is a really nice instrument. 4 stars because there is somewhat of a lack of resonance on the G string at the sixth and seventh fret . Fenders are notorious for this, but it comes with the territory.

Great value, great sound, great action

By g scott marlowe

from Denver, Colorado

Low action with no buzz, straight neck, great sound, everything you expect in a J bass is here. I've tinkered around on fretless basses that cost a lot more and honestly this thing rocks. If you prefer J Basses and want a fretless one, this is a fantastic deal on a great bass.
