Comments about Fender Standard 5-String Jazz Bass Guitar:

For the money this is a great instrument. Very typical of what I would expect from Fender. I'm told this is a Mexican version, and the quality, both sound and workmanship is as good as my American Strat.
It doesn't have all the new electronics being placed in some new guitars, which is what I wanted. Volume and tone control. Nice sound to it. I would recommend it and buy it again.

Comments about Fender Standard 5-String Jazz Bass Guitar:

Bought one of these used from a Guitar Center in Houston. It's an excellent machine. Was considering buying an American one but the MIM felt just as good in my hands, so for half the price of the MIA version I was able to buy this and a set of Norstrand pickups. Excellent quality all around, very solidly built, pickups are wired opposite each other so there's no hum when they're at equal volume. No fret buzz or dead spots.
