Koa Tele

By ND

from Charlotte NC

Comments about Fender Special Edition Koa Telecaster Electric Guitar:

Wow! Not only does this sound great, it is visually stunning. The wood grain reflects differently under different light conditions. Beautiful finish. Beautiful tone. If you can get past the price tag for a Korean-made Fender, it is quite the steal.

great guitar

Comments about Fender Special Edition Koa Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I've had this guitar now for about 8 months and it sounds just as good if not better as any of the more expensive guitars on the rack. Seymore Dun p-ups sound great through tube power. looks pretty too. I do get the buzzing though between the 13and 16 fret. I can work with it though. Awesome guitar

Koa Telecaster

By GreatTele

Comments about Fender Special Edition Koa Telecaster Electric Guitar:

This is the most gorgeous telecaster I have ever seen. The Koa looks amazing with the sunburst finish. Seymour-Duncan Alnico II p'ups sounds so sweet, especially with the switch in the middle position. Craftsmanship is excellent, as good as any Tele I've played. This is a unique Tele that will set you apart from the crowd, and it has the sounds to back up the looks.

Koa Tele

By Kim Narehood

from Molalla OR

Comments about Fender Special Edition Koa Telecaster Electric Guitar:

This is my first Tele...have wanted one for years but never went for it. Saw the Koa and I caved immediately. Such a beautiful guitar and the Seymour's add more tone than stock Fenders. The shape of the neck adds to comfortable playing. My only complaint is the lack of set up. The intonation is off and there is some fret buzzing up around 13th to 16th frets.

gorgeous tele

By Xavier

from montebello, CA

Comments about Fender Special Edition Koa Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar after my mexican tele was stolen. I was originally going for another of the same, but the koa top caught my eye, and once I plugged it in, I knew I had to have this guitar. The neck is very similar to an American (especially with the 22nd fret), and the Seymour Duncan pickups are more toneful than stock Fenders. Features are simple, usual Tele stuff. The only complaint I have is that it needed some bridge and pickup height adjustment when I got it (the neck pup was sinking into the pickguard). Overall, an amazing guitar worth way more than 700.

Nice

By swellsmd

Comments about Fender Special Edition Koa Telecaster Electric Guitar:

Nice piece, only issue I have is the factory did a poor job placing the string trees, they are slightly off center so the strings pull one way off of the nut and then pull they other way onto the tuning peg, having a hard time staying in tune. Otherwise, sounds great though through my Lonestar Special, many many great complements on how nice it looks.
