This guitaar sounds great as soon as you play it. The sound is nice and crisp. The package has everything you need to start playing. The only problem is that the bag is not durable. This is Fender's best acoustic guitar ever. It is a great value. The best quality and price ever.
You can not find a better deal than this. It comes with everything. I am a beginning guitarist and have no experience on guitars. I picked this one because of what you get for the money. It has great sound and is good to learn on. Anyone that is looking to start out at guitar should certainly consider it. It is not the best quality but for your money and for learning sake it works fine.
I have a couple of high end acoustic guitars, and I bought this to let my children mess with and to take on vacation. The sound wasn't very good with the original strings, so I replaced them and it helped a lot. Also, the guitar needed a little adjustment to the action...I sanded down the bridge saddle, and it now plays as nice as my Guild and Ibanez acoustics! The gig bag isn't great, but it's better than nothing. Some picks, a pitch pipe for tuning, and a strap, and Voila! Instant starter kit. You can't beat it for the $$$.
This guitar is what you get when you want a cheap starter acoustic guitar. If I've learned one thing from this guitar, it is that you can't be cheap when it comes to acoustic guitars. First off, the guitar is poorly made. The materials used are terrible, could possibly be plastic. Due to this, the tone suffers greatly. Sounds very plastic like and buzzes. The action is the highest I've ever seen on any guitar. The neck is cheaply made and the headstock is also. All in all, spend a few extra bucks to get a better starter guitar, because your not doing yourself a favor by saving money here.
This was the first guitar I've ever had. I bought it with money I saved up from my first job. The day I got it I knew I would love it. The Squier SA-100 guitar pack comes with much of what you need to get started. The strap and picks are a plus and the Lesson Book is an added bonus. I learned a lot from that book and I still refer to it. The guitar itself is beautiful and sounds great most of the time, however there is some buzz on the higher strings sometimes, especially the e string. But overall, this is a great beginners guitar. I've been playing for a little over a year now and this guitar has opened the door to a world of music for me and I promise it will do the same for you!
I've been interested in playing guitar for a while and finally decided to get one recently. Seeing it was only a minor investment of $100, I took a risk and bought it. It comes with strings as cheap as sawdust that break in less than a month. They don't even stretch to standard tunings and pop at the slightest roughness. The cheap metal-y finish that comes coated on the pegs dusts off easily. The surface of the guitar is as cheap as plywood and chips horribly. The fretboard is gritty. The guitar itself is not visually appealing by any means. The guitar buzzes and drops out of tune drastically every day. I think I'll stick to air guitar if this is all I can get for $100.
This guitar is pretty good for being so inexpensive. Just change the strings when you get it, and it should sound perfectly fine. The 6th string vibrates quite a bit though. This is a good guitar to have if you play electric but want to have a cheap acoustic around, if you ever may need it. I've had this for about a year, it's been in storage most of that year though, until lately. It looks nice, nice enough to be hanging on my wall. Very simple looking. The book is pretty helpful if you want to learn how to read music. Overall, it's a nice starter, just get new strings and an electric tuner, and you should be set.
