I just got this amp yesterday and as soon as I plugged it in I fell in love. This amp shook my entire house. It has great clean tones but also has that distortion everybody loves. BUY THIS AMP!!!
I have had some bad luck with a different name brand amp so I decided on this one and couldn't be happier! This amp is awesome. I would recommend Fender amps to everyone.
I was looking for my first bass amp, and I did tons of research, read reviews, etc. The Rumble 30 was definitely one of the best ones on my list. I went to GC, tried out TONS of amps, and came home with the Rumble 30! It sounds great, gets LOUD, has an awesome overdrive feature, and I can't find any problems with it. I would HIGHLY recommend this amp!
It may be 30 watts but it can shake my whole house so its good enough for me! I love this amp so much, i might even perform with it thats how loud and clear the sound is. And I like using distortion too, its good for that. definitely recommend this
I spent days researching the internet and visiting Guitar Center demoing every bass amp in this class. The Fender Rumble 30 blew everyone out of the water. It's loud, punchy and crystal clear, no noise, popping, hum or hiss. I don't play live gigs, I own a home recording studio and needed an amp that i could use to practice and lay down bass tracks. Most important, I don't write just Country, Rock, Blues etc. I write all types of music and need a amp that goes from low to high tones. The 10" speaker blew the 12" & 15" speaker amps away. Just demo it and you will buy it. The people at my local Guitar Center are not only super musicians but now how to point out differences to suit my taste.
I compared this with the rumble 75 side by side playing an american standard jazz bass with a maple neck. It blew the 75 away in terms of accurate and articulate tone. Yes it does lack some bottom but the tone is tighter and the notes ring out with more clarity and definition. The mids and highs are more present and the resonant character of the wood came trough where the 75 lacked in all these areas. Quality build throughout, solid construction, great sounding practice amp. Highly Recomend
I purchased this amp after looking at the Fender Rumble 75 due to it's smaller size and weight. I was looking for a small tilt back practice amp that was easy to move around the house and up the stairs. This amp is surprisingly full sounding compared to other amps of it's size and class. Although it does lack some of the low end of the Fender Rumble 75, it was an acceptable compromise for it's smaller size and weight. Just wish it had a line or tuner output.
