Like an earthquake

By Ben

from Dallas, Texas

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

This thing SCARES me about how loud it is. It actually knocked a picture off of my wall, and I was on 3/4 volume. The headphone jack really helps at 2 A.M. when I just want to play my butt off. The 8" speaker lets me articulate with the g string, but it can still get those low growls that shake the floor.

A solid practice bass for the beginner

By HeadHunter

from Buffalo, NY

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

I just picked up one of these at the GC here in Buffalo. Sara was very helpful in assisting my choice of gear. I was looking for an inexpensive but well-made practice amp that has a good sound, and this is exactly what I wanted. I could have got my Squier J-Bass in a bundle with the old Rumble 15, but she showed me the improvements on the new model - especially the input and output jacks. It's got plenty of solid sound for practicing, and it's not much more expensive than some other practice amps that haven't got the oomph and are far more poorly made. I'm looking forward to seeing what this baby's capable of over the weeks and months to come, but I already know I won't be disappointed.

Limited, But Good

By Aidan

from Cleveland, OH

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

This is a great starter amp for anyone who is new to playing bass. It is not, however, without its flaws. Most of all, it simply is not of a high enough quality to play professionally. You need something more, but this is good to start out with.

Its Time to Rumble On

By C'est Moi

from So. Cal.

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

I bought a Fender Rumble 15 at GC recently and I am very pleased with this amp, especially considering its street price of just $99.99. It works nicely as a practice amp for both my Fender J Bass and Strat. Also, music CDs, played using my old Sony Walkman player, via the Auxiliary Input lines on the amp, sound surprisingly good. There have been no reliability problems, so far, but I've only had it for a couple of weeks, as of the date of this review (12/21/10).

Amazing!

By Allan Lindsay

from Phoenix, AZ

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

Just bought this amp today. I needed a practice amp as I'm tired of moving my Ashdown Mag400 from room to room. I honestly didn't expect such volume from a 15 watt amp. My wife kept telling me to turn it down. The equalizer can dial up any bass style that you want. I would definitely recommend this amp.

first bass amp

By Geo

from Chicago

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

Just started playing bass this past year and I picked this amp up yesterday. It has a lot of sound for the price and it quickly pisses off my wife when I turn the volume up past half way. I have an Ibanez GSR200 and a Dean accoustic/electric both sound great on this amp.

It's Time To Rumble On -- Part II

By C'est Moi

from California

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

This review is an update to my "Its Time to Rumble On" review of the Fender Rumble 15 amplifier, posted 12/22/10. I've had this amp for about 3 months now. I've used it, but not abused it, almost every day and it is still working fine -- no reliability problems to report and I'm still happy with my purchase.

Bold Little Baby

By Shaun

from Connecticut

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

The Rumble 15, being the baby of the rumble series, sure packs a punch for a baby. This little guy may not seem very big from pictures, but it weighs in at a whopping 25 pounds. For $99.99, this thing is a steal. It has bass, treble, and mid knobs, as well as a master volume. It also comes with Auxiliary inputs which allow jam-alongs. The only other feature is a headphone input for quiet, late night jams. Even at 1/4 volume, treble and mid at 2 o'clock, bass at 3 o'clock, this little powerhouse still shakes the walls. It is very rugged with a kick-proof grille, although I don't recommend kicking amps either way. The quality is astounding for a beginner amp. Fender hasn't necessarily been known for putting out great amps, but this little guy is a great buy for small gigs or living room practice sessions.

Great SMALL amp !

By David

from Overland Park, KS

Comments about Fender Rumble 15 V2 15W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

Really pleased with the fit and finish of Fender products these days. When I first started playing 29 years ago, something this nice would have been a lot more cash. Decent tonal control on the three band EQ, amp/speaker gets woofy over about half but this is a practice amp. A practice amp. If you need more speaker throw than you get from a decent TV set, you probably need to buy a larger amp. All in all, the littlest Rumble is great band for the buck and gets you heard across the room.
