Ultra clear sound that i didn't find in fender blacktop, fender std telecaster or fender telecaster 72 reissue. The only thing i could add to this guitar is a tone because sometimes i want to use only the humbucker and shut the high ends and its not possible, but you could buy an equalizer pedal to satisfy this requirement. Japan has many great things and great quality standards, some of them better than US and its visible and hearable when you play this awesome guitar. Im from Mexico and i did have a Fender telecaster 72 reissue once (made in mexico) and it wasn't made as good as this one.
I saw this hanging in a local music shop and was immediately struck by a guitar god thunderbolt. It was a Fender, but all retro, cool and very unique looking. But you know how it goes, it may look cool, but what are the chances that it will play and sounds as good as it looks? Well this guitar is AMAZING! The neck is a dream...just perfect. Nice low action with no frett buzz whatsoever. It plays really fast. And both pickups have a very sweet tone. Warm and jazzy when cleaned up. Warm and sustainy with a bit of top end when you crank up the distortion. The blender knob is great! I love the fact that you can get a bunch of tones by just rolling the knob. And again, going back to the look...it's one of coolest looking guitar I have ever seen. The surf green color, the f-hole, the greenish vintage pick guard...too cool! From the look, feel and sound, this is a fantastic guitar!
I went to guitar center one day knowing I was going to buy a guitar. I really had my mind set on the Fender American Tele but the guy there said I should try playing some other guitars. I played an American Strat, the Tele, a Gibson SG and even a Gibson Les Paul. Then he brought me a guitar I had never seen before the Fender pawn shop. When I played I was blown away. The action, tone and quality surpassed every other guitar and every guitar I've played since then. Also the price is significantly cheaper then most other high end guitars.
