Comments about Fender Passport Venue 600W Portable PA System:

This PA replaced my 400 watt Peavey Amp and 2 Custom 12" speaker cabs. This PA is better in every way. Plenty of power, plenty of inputs, simple to use, compact and light to carry, light weight speakers are easy for single person to put up on standard speaker stands, light weight speakers allow for not spreading the speaker stand legs out too far so saves stage space, compact speaker design leaves more room on stage and better viewing to/from audience, power and speaker cables go in on-board storage.

Comments about Fender Passport Venue 600W Portable PA System:

This is a very cool system. Easy to use, easy to travel with, fast to set up. My friend purchased the 375 watt event 2 years ago and I now have the 600 watt venue. The noticeable differences are a few more channels and the ability to record to a flashdrive whatever is being played through the system. No complaints, but I wish it was able to quickly overdub on a previously recorded track for those of us who like to practice alone and want to hear all music tracks played back to them. I use a digital recorder for this, but it would be cool to have the ability to do it through the system with the quick press of a button. That being said, I know you can't have everything and the system is very cool no matter what.

Comments about Fender Passport Venue 600W Portable PA System:

I perform live BMX shows at hundreds of different schools per year. Over the past 12 years I've had 3 different Fender Passport systems. I started with the 250, then the 300, and now the Venue (which is 600 watts).

This system has always been loud enough for even the largest of audiences up to 1,500 people. Many times I am in gymnasiums that sound like an echo-chamber. However, the Fender system sounds great in these less-than-ideal performing conditions. It's always clear and so easy to use.

Since I'm doing bike tricks, I unfortunately have to perform in front of the speakers. (Most bands or other performers are able to perform behind the speakers). However this system has a great EQ, and I can configure it so I don't get unwanted feedback from the microphone.

I can set up the system in minutes, and it's very durable. I even leave it in my vehicle overnight unless it's extreme cold below-zero temps. You really can't go wrong with this sound system.

One tip I would suggest is to purchase longer Fender Speaker Cables. I have 25 foot Fender cables that come with lifetime warranty. They weren't expensive and really allow you to spread the speakers out more if you need.

Comments about Fender Passport Venue 600W Portable PA System:

I own 5 Fender Passport 150 models from previous generations, the models where they used to have some color and abundance of features. Today's models are super boring facades AND the biggest goof Fender did was to remove BOTH the master left/right volume knobs AND the pan knob for each input.

I do setups for spoken word dinner event talks a lot for Pharmaceutical companies and many times, the private room is tight. Using a wireless lavalier, this possibly yields feedback when the doctor gets too close to one speaker or the other. SO, THE OPTION TO TURN EITHER THE LEFT OR RIGHT VOLUME DOWN WHEN THIS HAPPENS IS GONE NOW!!!

SUPER GOOF! I can never purchase another Passport series product until they either bring back master left/right volume control or a pan knob for each input. Sure, take one away or the other, but not both. Idiotic.....

I purchased the Passport 500 model where they first eliminated this option. I used it a few times mostly because my older 150 models are quite scuffed up. I had to shelf the 500 because, 1) it's super heavy compared to the 150's (but, that's understandable since it's more powerful), 2) the lack of master left/right volume control and 3) I just discovered after 2 years of ownership, that EVERY single knob on this (almost) latest 500 line is super sticky now, like it's made out of some petroleum type compound and it's degrading. It's that sticky type feel like tape was left on it too long and now it's sticky to the touch. Weird. Very poor quality craftsmanship.

I don't know....I've called and complained to Fender many times and they don't seem to recognize the needs of their customers.

Here's the super ironic thing, they call the latest Passport 150 line the "Conference".....hah! You can't use this for conferences for just the reason I stated above.....hello Fender....?!?

Comments about Fender Passport Venue 600W Portable PA System:

The new Fender Venue has 100 more watts than the older Fender Passport 500 Pro, but it lacks in the plug type versatility that the 500 Pro had. I would like to see more 1/4 " inputs.
