Great for protests

This PA system is good if your using it like a bull horn, but I can't imagine using it for anything with an instrument playing over it. Don't get me wrong, it can be pretty loud for its sound, but the quality isn't the greatest for singing. For the price, you could buy a pretty good PA system from another brand though it wouldn't be portable.

Only one to buy for the on the go musician

I bought the passport and plugged in in no problem. I found the wattage to fit perfectly with my Crate Taxi I bought a few years ago. My voice was carried well for a small speaker. I did not think the voicing range was as full as could be and the microphone that came with it ws basic, but I found I could plug my SM57 and SM58 in no problem with a XLR male to 1/4 inch male converter.

It really did great on a teacher tour

One recommendation is to have a place to attach the wireless mic to the speaker housing, so there is just one thing to keep up with. I tried to use velcro to attach the mic but there were no flat surfaces on the housing that would hold the mic securely.
