Overview

U.S.-designed Paramount Series acoustic instruments are finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your artistic vision to life. Each all-solid guitar offers many legacy design elements of classic ’60s models, including special checkerboard binding and rosettes, unique pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl "Concert Tone" fretboard inlays.

And even with this art deco look, Paramount instruments still retain their footing in modern design. All-new Fender- and Fishman-designed PM preamp systems are equipped with specially voiced for each body shape in the series, ensuring complete tonal control and variation.

Includes hardshell case.

Available in an elegant natural finish, the Paramount Deluxe Dreadnought features not only thoughtful vintage appointments, but also the craftsmanship of a truly high-performing instrument. Crafted from premium all-solid tone woods such as upgraded East Indian rosewood back and sides and Sitka spruce top and equipped with quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, the Deluxe dreadnought is designed with freely vibrating, resonant tone in mind. It also features a fast-playing "C"-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, both of which are designed to accommodate the most demanding playing styles.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-1 Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have 4 other all Solid Wood Guitar's - this is my first Rosewood back and sides. It has a very Bold sound to it . I see that they used 80/20 strings which I would have put on a Rosewood Guitar. I only have it a week and love to play every night. It does remind me of a Gibson J 45 sound. Honestly over the years I have not liked Fender Acoustic Guitars- only their Electrics - Happy to see that they are making this high caliber Model.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-1 Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I love this guitar. I have played Taylors, Gibsons, and Martins, but at a fraction of the price with all solid wood this guitar beats them all. It has a pretty low action so hammer-ons and pull-offs are a breeze, but you don't get any buzzing 99% of the time. It has a very rich full sound and the Fishman electronics are great. The only flay I have found is a buzzing from the d string when I play one chord, I think it is hitting a fret, but it can be fixed. the electronics are very low profile, and this guitar comes with a very nice case and a humidifier. It truly is a beautiful looking and sounding guitar, but don't trust me; go and play one! Never buy an acoustic guitar you haven't played because you might end up hating it. My preferences may be different than yours, but I would definitely recommend trying this guitar!
