First of all it's extremely underpriced!the charcoal transparent is soooooo much better in person! Best strat I've ever played!i recommend it to everyone no matter what experience level your at! I was speechless when I first played it and I'm sure you'll be too!
First off it's underpriced a lot!second anybody who doesn't want to buy it is crazy. The charcoal transparent looks amazing in person. The neck is easy to play on. I recommend this to every guitarist beginner intermediate or expert!
Hey, got this Strat in the mail packed like mona lisa painting, awesome, the tuning is so tight. Stays in tune after cranking hard on the tremolo. Can not put it down. I have this hooked up with the Mustang 3 amp to the computer, so much fun, that heavy strat sound is there and more. One nasty guitar. Thanks guitar center for this fine Fender strat
Beyond 5 Stars! I'm one of those guys that uses my fender to simply distress after work (I teach junior high math-that's right, no easy days). I don't even know how to play other than some basic chords and this guitar sounds like I bought a thousand dollar American made strat. I use it with a fender amp (mustang III) and the sounds those to make together are amazing. This guitar is ready to go out of the box. You can't go wrong. I think the reason they don't display it at GC is that it would probably out sell every other fender. Don't hesitate, what a beautiful sounding instrument.
If there's anyone out there looking for a guitar that's versatile then this is where your search ends. I got this guitar with Fender Mustang V2 40 watts as my birthday gift and I am totally in love with it. I got mine in charcoal transparent, it looks beautiful and sounds great as well. I would recommend this guitar to any level guitar player.
I'm a professional musician who's played guitar since the mid 70's. I bought the crimson red guitar as it reminds me of the classic Gibson SG. The wine color is beautiful! The guitar sounds excellent - pure and simple. I tested the Modern Player against the more expensive American strats. Save yourself some money. In a blind sound test, you will not be able to tell the difference. It has a 5 way switch to allow the humbuckers to be single or double coil. It also has 22 frets instead of the usual 21. The quality workmanship is excellent. For those of you who might think you'll be compromising quality of sound and workmanship by buying a Modern Player, you won't. Fender has really maintained the highest quality standards over the decades. Buy two of these instead of one American made one at twice the cost.
