Overview

Fender and hard-hitting Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt join forces once again to bring you the Mike Dirnt Road Worn Precision Bass. The maple neck has a thick "C"-shaped profile and a classic '51-style Telecaster headstock shape, with a 9.5"-radius maple or rosewood fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets and black (maple board) or aged white (rosewood board) dot position inlays. The bass also has a single-ply black pickguard, two knurled chrome flat-top control knobs (volume, tone) and special '70s vintage-style tuners.

Comments about Fender Mike Dirnt Roadworn Precision Bass:

I bought this bass after finding it on Guitar Center's website and I really liked the cool look of the old school Tele body with the sunburst road worn finish and rosewood fretboard, it just looked so cool. I then started to look up videos on YouTube to see if there was any good feedback and I learned more about the bass including the hot wired 59 P bass pickups and the solid slab ash body and the thicker neck. I was willing to take a chance and buy it and I'm really happy with the look, feel and sound of this instrument. It has a really awesome chunky bass sound but with very clear and articulate high end as well. It definitely has a unique voice compared to my other P basses and I really enjoy the kind of tone this bass puts out. I like the bass so much that I am considering buying the white version with the maple fingerboard.

Comments about Fender Mike Dirnt Roadworn Precision Bass:

Love this bass to death. I got this bass a little over a year or two ago and it's still my favorite thing to jam with. Since I have to take it around a lot the road worn body definitely makes me feel connected to this thing. The pick ups are so punchy and lively compared to most of the other p bass iterations I've gone through. Overall I can't say enough good things about this bass. Go buy it now
