Comments about Fender Micro EQ Guitar Effects Pedal:

There is a big problem with this pedal: the sliders take effect in a reverse-logarithmic manner. That is they have very little effect for most of the range, and then when you get to the top or bottom of the range the change in frequency becomes noticeable very suddenly and very dramatically.

I compared this side-by-side to a Boss GE-7. The latter wins hands down. It has more range and the effect of the sliders is linear (i.e. perfectly gradual).

I bought this Fender Micro EQ because I was worried about footprint and true bypass (the Boss is buffered). Alas an EQ pedal will almost always be on anyways so I am not to fussed about bypass. The larger footprint of the Boss GE-7 is worth it.

Thus this Fender Micro EQ will be going back.
