I already have the rosewood strat, I pondered if I would have the chance to see and play one. The GC Center that I go to for all of my musical purchases had one in the store, I said they had one I didn't even run down there I purchased it sight unseen. Best move I've ever made. Thanks to Matt And Max at the GC on Colorado Blvd in Denver what a great bunch of people I also want to give thanks to Royce one of the other sale rep I've used he bent over backwards to get the Merle Haggard Tele. now my collection is complete.

I recently bought this guitar from Guitar Center. and it was used guitar. Guitar was great condition. Sound is Good. Looks great. But That does seem like the incorrect serial number format. İt's starting US2014? Guitar was made in 2016 ? İ don't get it. Now im worried the guitar is a fake.
What's the serial number on your guitar?

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

It sounds great and looks good as well. Suddenly made my other Fenders seem obsolete. Normally I like to build them from parts but this one is stock and I intend to leave it that way. Not sure if it's the all Rosewood neck, but it seems to be really easy to play. I keep it nearby and I usually pick it up and play it several times a day. The mint pick guard is a nice compliment to the mint green body. The body is a gloss finish and it looks great on this guitar. The only complaint is the goofy plastic guitar case. Come on guys, it deserved better.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

The neck is amazing, its super comfortable and just looks gorgeous. Its a little darker sounding than my other teles, and I really dig both the pickups. Its an american tele, with a rosewood neck, what more do you want. Its probably not the guitar you want if youre going to play Periphery or Cattle Decapitation, but you should know that already.

    Truly a sweet guitar

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

So I've played lots of Telecasters, but never owned one. My Stratocaster was my go-to choice. But sometimes you just want that 'block of wood' feeling.
A long time ago a fellow player had an all-rosewood tele from the 60's that just sang, and I thought I would one day find one for myself. This total rosewood neck version caught my eye and I was not disappointed. The relative softness of the neck compared to the maple neck is definitely a huge factor in my playing enjoyment, and I would say it takes a bit of the edge off the sound, which was what I was looking for. If you play jazz changes, it seems to resonate well with the complicated harmonies, but you can turn around and get all twangy like the hotshot country players, or dig in and get lots of body for that rock thing. Frets feel great, tuning is easy, it just makes me want to get to work on something.

      Amazing

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

This telecaster is amazing, plan and simple. I purchased the Rosewood Strat last year so when I saw this, I had to have it. A few trades later, it was on order. Once received, I had the repair tech look over it and the setup was okay, but I had him do a custom setup for me. The neck is the standard American Standard neck but it felt a little thinner and the oil finish was amazing. Smooth, fast, and the fret job was flawless. The twisted tele pickup in the neck position as far as I knew was usually a "glassy" sounding pickup, but the rosewood neck mellowed it out. The broadcaster bridge pickup sounds great, and when you engage the no load frature, it sings. If possible, call your local guitar center and ask if they have one. If they have one, go ahead and bring in another guitar to trade, because you'll want to purchase this guitar instantly.

I was hooked at the first strum

      By Telecaster Lover

      from Hollywood Florida

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

I own a load of Tele's this one spoke to me. I can't even begin to describe the connection I had to this guitar at first strum. It just felt and sounded like it was the perfect Telecaster to me. I loved the fit and finish the pickups sounded great the intonation was spot on. It was set up great. There was nothing I didn't love about it. If I was single I'd marry her.

      Great Instrument

      By M

      from Philly

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

This guitar is incredible. I've played a custom shop strat for the last ten years and this sounds every bit as good, although obviously a tele. The neck pickup played clean has incredible throaty mids, perfect for jazz, while the bridge pickup has that classic chicken pickin tele sound, perfect for country or blueds. You can even get great hard rock distorted sounds - it's such a versatile instrument. I really could't be happier with the purchase.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

Firstly, I fell in love a year or so ago with one of the master-built George Harrison, all rosewood teles. But that guitar cost around $6,000 and I couldn't justify spending that much, plus it was a very heavy guitar.

I was traveling for work and was in the San Jose GC when one of the sales people showed me this guitar. He mentioned that they just unboxed it. Unbelievably, the setup out of the box was almost perfect. The neck is SO smooth and has a perfect profile, not too fat, not too thin. Just right. Simply just had amazing playability right out of the box.

Only downside to this guitar is that it comes with Standard hardware. Seeing that it is truly special and unique, they should have charged an extra couple hundred bucks and put the good stuff on. Now I will have to spend about $300 extra on great pickups, a new bridge, etc.

Another note, the pictures of this guitar don't do it justice. You really have to see it in person. Basically looks like you'd imagine a thin mint cookie would look if it was a guitar.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

Was somewhat looking for a tele as have an LP and Strat. Went into GC, played it and it talked to me. Great action, resonance, fit and finish. All the teles seem to look alike and this is definitely different. 251 were made for GC by Fender in the U.S. Factory. As I was buying it, 87 were left. In the 30 mins to complete the transaction, there were 74 left. This one was on the floor for about 3 days before I saw it.

I would recommend you try one and snap it up if you like it. Did some research and Fender made some George Harrison tributes (all Rosewood body and neck) in the Custom Shop. The neck is so good, I wonder if they had some left over and did the deal with GC.

It is really special. Go find one.
