I already have the rosewood strat, I pondered if I would have the chance to see and play one. The GC Center that I go to for all of my musical purchases had one in the store, I said they had one I didn't even run down there I purchased it sight unseen. Best move I've ever made. Thanks to Matt And Max at the GC on Colorado Blvd in Denver what a great bunch of people I also want to give thanks to Royce one of the other sale rep I've used he bent over backwards to get the Merle Haggard Tele. now my collection is complete.

I recently bought this guitar from Guitar Center. and it was used guitar. Guitar was great condition. Sound is Good. Looks great. But That does seem like the incorrect serial number format. İt's starting US2014? Guitar was made in 2016 ? İ don't get it. Now im worried the guitar is a fake.

This is rosewood done right

By George

from Mobile Al

Pros

  • The neck, the neck, ohh did I mention the neck.

Cons

  • Would pay extra for a Wilkinson Trem

Best Uses

  • Blues

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

It is a shame that Fender does not offer solid rosewood necks across the entire USA line. I know there are Fender licensed rosewood necks out there, but the etched Fender logo is nice to have.

At the same time this telecaster came out, there is a nice companion Stratocaster , also with a solid rosewood neck so I bought one of each. From twangy country to wailing blues, to grinding rock, the ultra-fast necks go to tones and places no other Fender touches.

    Olympic White Finish Is Awesome

    By Michael Treatch Music

    from Gilbert, AZ

    Pros

    • The Vintage 58 Custom Shop pickups sound good

    Cons

    • Action could be better
    • Tuning stability, replacing with locking tuners

    Best Uses

    • Vintage single coil sound

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar to get a classic vintage single coil sound for some upcoming original solo projects I'm working on. I currently have two Gibson Les Pauls in my arsenal, one with P90's and the other modified with DiMarzio pickups. The Telecaster sounds really good. Two complaints are tuning stability after string bending, I'll be installing some locking tuners. The other is action (string height from fretboard) I had a professional setup done, it's better but not as good as my Gibson Les Pauls.

    • Great balance

    Cons

      Best Uses

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

This thing feels like it sustains like my Les Paul's. You can feel it against your body and your hands. Great feeling neck, with a smooth weighty feel and a classic shape with useable medium jumbo frets.

        As to the case

        By sloppyhand

        from New Albany, Ohio

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

Someone was unhappy with the plastic case. While I am by no means an expert on cases I have no complaints with the plastic, it seems to be very sturdy. How it would hold up under years of roadie use someone else will have to comment on.
Last week a David Gilmore Signature Strat was delivered and while the case interior was a "lot" plusher the cardboard like case exterior did not seem as heave duty as the plastic.

        Great Instrument

        By M

        from Philly

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar:

This guitar is incredible. I've played a custom shop strat for the last ten years and this sounds every bit as good, although obviously a tele. The neck pickup played clean has incredible throaty mids, perfect for jazz, while the bridge pickup has that classic chicken pickin tele sound, perfect for country or blueds. You can even get great hard rock distorted sounds - it's such a versatile instrument. I really could't be happier with the purchase.

It's beautiful in looks, feel and sound. I almost don't want it to be a big seller. I don't want there to be a lot of them out there:) I'm in love with this guitar.
