I'm a dedicated in the house player, and fortunate enough to have some fine gear. This raised the bar considerably. I'd been looking at this beautiful guitar and it's Squire counterpart for about a year, and some stars and planets aligned and boom! I have an American Strat.
None of my other guitars play this easily. Barre chords are all of a sudden my friend.
I've been playing a really nice Epi LP, but this just plays better.

Really Disappointed when I received a Demo for a New Guitar Fret Buzz High E. Dent on the Back of the Guitar, Case Key missing, Strap, Missing Paper work missing, Tremolo Bar Missing. I had 144 mile in trips pickup and returns.. Offered 10% off and some keys no paper work and a Dent.. Wonder how much that dent devalued the Guitar.. Returned... However Not my store fault they were Great. No problems with the Return. Will shop again but not the first place I will go looking. I Lost out of my 36 no interest deal. My advise to Guitarcenter when it is a Demo SAY So and Check out before Shipping..

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar has it all: eye appeal, sound, and playability. I've been plying guitar for 40+ years, mostly at church and home. The bell like tone works well with accompaniment as well as cutting through for lead. There have been a showers of complements from church members.

There is something special about the neck on Fender's US model guitars. This guitar is no exception. The pickups are spot on custom shop fat 50s. I'm confident that there will be no desire to swap them out in the future.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

Received a GC flyer in the mail like I do every couple of weeks and usually it spends a couple of days in the head then tossed. Very rarely does anything catch my eye. But this one had this gold Strat at a great price. That was enough to peak my interest. Played one and was hooked.
Really didn't have the dough but there was a Gibi P90 LP Special that was sitting in it's case forever, cash, and other odds and ends to make the deal happen. Couldn't be happier. The LP was cool but not this cool. GREAT instrument. Setup was a flash. Cool out of the box. Darn close just a tweak or two.
The only quibble and it ain't a thing. The pickups are a little hot for my taste, but running them a little lower than normal sound is stella.
Sorry for being little long winded, but can you tell I realy dig this guitar!!!!!

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I play at home, church, and with family. My son and Use music as an enrichment in our relationship. Although his skill has surpassed mine, it is very pleasing to get together on weekends to play music. My experience is aimed toward enjoyment rather than benefiting financially.

I believe this in an important factor when choosing an instrument. That is, Knowing your purpose. This guitar is very eye appealing, yet that is not as significant a factor for me. More importantly I'm not going to chose a guitar simply because a certain group (target/audience) has a preference. Most of my playing is for my enjoyment, while bonding with friends and family.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I bought my first Am Std Strat in 64' and bought a new one in every decade since, this is by far the best one ever. I love everything about this guitar it's hard to put down. It makes me play better, the sound is so classic, bell like harmonics, powerful lows, stinging highs, "great" tremolo, stays in tune for a long time. I usually use EB 10's and tune down to E flat but the Fender 250 NPS 9's that came on this beauty are unbelievable. Fun is back, my wife is jealous, I really got lucky as I kind of bought it on a whim. This one will be in my will!

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

Have been playing off and on since '79, and have owned some nice Fenders, Gibsons, and a Hamer in the past, including a late 90's Big Apple Strat, and this axe is by far the nicest playing guitar I have ever owned. It arrived intonated, action set properly, with a sweet hardshell case featuring a chrome Fender logo on it, as well as a kit consisting of a strap and polishing cloth. The gold finish is by no means gaudy, as the metallic flecks are very fine and tasteful. The fit and finish is world class, akin to a custom made guitar, with the fretboard feeling like an old friend, and the Custom Shop Fat 50's pickups have tone for days. I'd been wanting another Strat with single coils for some time now, and made the purchase when the price became lower than an American Standard Strat. When I was able to apply a 20% off coupon towards it as well, it was a no-brainer. I am so impressed with this instrument that I have made the decision to begin taking lessons again, in hopes that I can say that I deserve her! Another awesome deal and great service from Guitar Center - so far, they have never let me down! Thanks, guys ...

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I play at church in a modern worship band, and this Strat will cover all the tones that I need. I had an American Standard Strat years ago, but let it go to fund another purchase. However, when I heard the Limited Edition Strat being played on YouTube by a Guitar Center employee, I was enticed by the tone of this guitar! I saw that my local GC had one of these in stock, so I stopped by to play it. It felt and sounded great! That's when I knew that it would be mine. The Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups really sound great! I can't fault anything on this guitar.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I have owned other strats, including some that would cost a lot more than this one. This is as good or better than any others I have had. This will be my number one electric guitar. It feels great. It sounds great. It was easy to set up to play great. I will use it to jam with friends and for personal and corporate worship.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

As always, Fender US models simply fit well. It is extremely comfortable, and attention to the finish and detaining is spot on! The limed color is very stunning and photogenic.

I've been playing guitar for 40+ years, including a variety of vintage instruments. This limited edition Stratocaster is right on par. I'm not one of those only US guitars are made well snobs. However, the difference is obvious "period".

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

Having had my Strat for just over a year I have ZERO regrets. It's simply a first class guitar and everything they're hyped up to be wrapped up in gold.
I actually admin another brand FB group and they went bezerk over the Mystic Aztec Gold finish, and every time I post it, it draws a crowd. I wish I had 30 years left to play it and see it age.
