It’s one of the most common modification requests Fender gets for Precision basses—the remarkable tonal versatility of an added Jazz Bass bridge pickup. The Limited Edition American Standard PJ Bass is a great American Standard Precision Bass—the rock-solid stalwart of the bass world—with the extra functionality of a singing, snarling Jazz Bass bridge pickup and a thinner Jazz Bass neck for faster action.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Rosewood Fingerboard PJ Electric Bass:

I mainly play fender jazz basses. This bass enabled me to expand my sound with the precision pickups and still have the jazz neck. The addition of the jazz bridge pickup makes this a bass you could use in any music style. I still prefer my Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass for my main axe but will be using this bass to expand my sound for certain playing situations(classic rock bands,etc.). This bass is also a limited edition from the Fender Magnificent Seven Collection of 2016. Only 500 will be made. Excellent workmanship, unique sound capabilities (especially for a passive bass) and easy playing jazz neck make for a great instrument.

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Rosewood Fingerboard PJ Electric Bass:

Used to playing a short scale bass so I was nervous about playing a big boy instrument. The neck allows you to play easily. I added flat wound strings and it plays as smooth as butter. I owned a 67 precision bass way back when and this new model is just so much better and easier to play. Fender does it again!

Comments about Fender Limited Edition American Standard Rosewood Fingerboard PJ Electric Bass:

Very nice neck and rounded finger board easy to play on specially if you have small hands; light weight 8-1/2 lbs. Very nice workmanship, thank you Fender.
Out of the box it will require a professional set up, count on it: string action, intonation, neck relief etc.
        but that is normal.
