Excellent value!

By Miguel Rilloraza

Comments about Fender Left-Handed Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar:

It's my favorite electric guitar that I've owned. I've owned an Epiphone Les Paul, SG, and the Fender Standard Tele is by far the best playing, best sounding guitar I ever had the pleasure of owning. Plus, I was able to put the money I saved (over the American Standard) towards a Fender Blues Jr. NOS amp. I might even pick up a Fender Standard Strat while I'm at it.
A very basic guitar with 2 single coil pickups, 1 tone knob, 1 volume knob, and a 3 way selector.
Overall build quality is great - no problems with the fit and finish of the body/neck/frets/pickups/etc. The guitar needed to be set up when I first bought it, but now it plays nicely.

If I had to nitpick, the 3-way selector could use some improvement. As it stands, it feels a little flimsy.
I think the Fender standard series is a great value (both the tele and the strat). Priced less than the American Standard, the MIM Fenders really do offer a compelling argument to save yourself some cash.

A Truly Great Guitar

By Eez-AZWyH

Comments about Fender Left-Handed Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar:

Got this guitar around 6 months ago and I'm in love with it beyond words. Have had an American Standard Strat fo a year, but this Tele is by far my favourite. The tone is anything from warm sweet jazz, to loud n sharp blues. Playability is good enough to inspire you into becoming a better player. Beautiful n solid guitar. Cannot recommend it enough. I'm mainly into blues n jazz and Alternative..use this baby in the studio and for practice. But recently tried playing some Gary Moore type leads and they came out nice n sweet as well. This guitar just keeps on giving. Love her, love her, love her! Get one NOW!

Great sound!

By Danny Saxton

from Baltimore, MD/London, UK

Comments about Fender Left-Handed Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar is a great piece of machinery, i have nearly 2 years experience and this guitar suits me fine!. My Girlfriend bought me this guitar for our anniversary, it plays sweet and easy from Clean tone to an over driven tone. If your into Blues; Joe Bonamassa, B.B king. Johnny Winters, Stevie ray Vaughn, Rory Gallagher etc. then this is your instrument. Pros of this guitar include: -Great sound -Large Frets -easy bends -great look -next to the american series -comes with a bag -Beautiful sound with a slide. cons include: -Bulky and thick body -bit heavy -Maple board gets dirty easily With the right strap the weight isn't really a problem, the cons of this guitar don't really affect playing or sound. other than that, its perfect. Pick one up if you want to play or learn blues.
