Great little guitar, smooth snappy neck plays as well as my best guitars. Don't know for sure but am pretty certain these aren't the stock pickups used on other MIM standards. Have a great range and sound terrific.
I first purchased a Modern Player Tele in the burst at my local GC. As i was leaving with the new ax i saw this bad boy on display up front glimmering and looking awesome. I couldn't resist so i took my modern player back a week later, shelled out a little more cash and this beaut is mine.. First off its a telecaster so you know its great quality in performance and sound. This thing plays like a champ, stays in tune perfectly and fits my style 100%. I play an alternative punk rock style and was surprised the amount of attack and punch this single coil machine kicks out. Overall I am incredibly happy with my purchase, the color is insane. Its beautiful. The neck is the perfect size and shape for my hands at least, and it sounds superb coming out of my fender stage 160. GET ONE OF THESE BEFORE THEY'RE GONE or don't so I can just have mine and you can all be in "awe" :P
