Overview

The American Telecaster Faded Ash introduces a visually striking new style for the guitar that started it all. It features a never- before-seen brown anodized aluminum pickguard, which accentuates the attractive wood grain visible through the ash body' elegantly faded satin lacquer finish. Together, these create a complete aesthetic entirely new in more than six decades of Telecaster design.

Other premium features include a comfortable body contour, tinted maple neck with œmodern C profile and satin urethane back finish, 9.5- radius maple (Butterscotch Blonde model) or rosewood (Sonic Blue model) fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, two Texas Tele (bridge and neck) pickups with three-way switching, knurled flat-top control knobs (master volume and œno load tone control), and American Standard strings-through-body bridge with bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate. Includes case.

Awesome Guitar

By MIchael Craft

from Dallas, Texas

First off, I would like to say that this guitar is beautiful. I chose the sonic blue option, and though it is much more blue in person than the picture would suggest, I'm very pleased overall with it visually. It's a gorgeous finish, without a doubt. The guitar plays like a dream, the neck is wonderfully smooth and super easy and it came set up just about perfectly, only requiring a small tweak with the saddles to get it ready to jam. The pickups are way hotter than expected, which is another plus. The neck has all that warmth you'd expect from a Fender, but can still get a great, fat and chunky bite when hit with a little drive. The bridge, however, straight up screams when put through an amp with any bit of dirt in it. It handles cleans, mid and high gain wonderfully, far more than expected. It cuts really well and can pull off some searing lead tones as well as a well rounded, fat rhythm. All and all, definitely a good buy, love it to death and never want to let it go.
