Awesome as expected but could be better

By Mark Ressler

from Ashburn, Va

The picture doesn't do it justice, I love the surf green and the rosewood fretboard on mine is the best I've seen and is what really caught my eye. The feel of the neck is perfect, action is a bit lower than I like but not complaining. The custom shop fat 50's are amazing. The finish is perfect as well. I do have a couple complaints though, I had a 2000 model in black with a maple neck and it would stay in tune for a very long time, this one however, not the case, I am always having to tune it. The 2000 model had the block saddles which I liked much better and really wish they would of kept them in the american standard line instead of just the deluxe models. I'm hoping that a setup might help with the tuning stability. All in all though, this axe has great tone, feel and looks and I would highly recommend it.

Fender FSR American Standard

By Danny Mcjunkin

from North Charleston SC

The first time I saw the shell pink, was on this website. I thought a pink Strat???? Then I saw one in person at my favorite Guitar Center in North Charleston SC, wow! The pink is very, soft and looked fantastic. Then I played around with it for 10 minutes or so, and bought it. I really like the 2012 Strats, the necks are fast and I have made a transition to rosewood fingerboards. This is the second 2012 that I have the first was in jade green metallic, great color too. I really like the fat 50's too, if looking for something different check this model out, sweet guitar.
