nice amp

By ryan

Comments about Fender FM 65R Guitar Combo Amp:

this amp is good for the price. i got one because i had a starter amp that really sucked... then i was looking online for an amp and i was going to get a Crate for 375 but i went to west music to look at their amps and the guy showed me this amp... it is really loud and even on 2 its pretty loud. its sounds really nice and on distortion you can even mess with the knobs to get punk or metal and the mid contours good too

LOUD!!!!

Comments about Fender FM 65R Guitar Combo Amp:

This is one lud amp. I have had it for 2 years and it has lasted through all the playing ive done through it. It has a nice reverb and is very versatile. You can go from country to heavy metal with just a flick of the switch. The mid contour is also great too if your looking for an old vintage style sound. Great amp for anyone!

This is a TRANSISTOR amp?

By Jack

from Chicago

Comments about Fender FM 65R Guitar Combo Amp:

I sat down at my local music store one day to try this baby out. I'd had my eye on it for some time. I currently have a VOX hybrid amp, and I was sitting down to play this one, expecting that hollow solid-state tone (I swear by the 12AX7). Boy was I in for a shocker. This thing has SOUND. It gets great tone, and great distortion. No built-in effects besides reverb, but it's simply awesome. The "mid contour" switch is particularly useful, getting great tones from metal to country. Excellent amp, great value, but a bit pricey.

One Loud Amp!

By mmukav

Comments about Fender FM 65R Guitar Combo Amp:

This is a great little amp! My partner plays one in our band. Great Fender sound, and this baby is loud! Has built-in spring reverb, and distortion. Not the greatest distortion sound, but quite usable. Easy to use, with all knobs on front of amp. It should come with a channel switch, but if you want one you have to buy it separate. A really good value for the price. And did I mention it was loud?

Very good amp

By ibanezboy

Comments about Fender FM 65R Guitar Combo Amp:

This amplifier has very good tone considering the price! The clean channel is so bright and crisp, and LOUD! it's louder than my friend's Crate amp. It isn't heavy, so you can take it anywhere. The distortion channel is great for metal and all around rock. For the price, it's a Great value!
