I recently purchased this amp to be used as a practice amp on the road or at home. I must say I'm quite inmpressed with the quality of this amp. The sound is crisp and loud and it is loaded with features given the low price. It has all the effects you would really need depending upon your choice of music, plus it has audio jacks, allowing you to connect a cd player to the amp itself. This is a great feature for working in your timing. I would definitely recommend this amp to anyone.

I"m not going to say this amp is completely terrible, but you should definitely check out some other combo amps before you buy this. Most of the distorted amp models are pretty much useless. The cleans are pretty good though. You also have no control over the effects. Its either off or on which is a big time downer, the effects aren't bad, they are just not versatile. If you ask me you are better off getting a peavey vypyr, a vox, a valve jr with a distortion pedal or even a line 6.(eww)

great sound+great price=awesome amp

By the fead

Comments about Fender FM 25 DSP Frontman Combo Amp:

I got this amp yesterday to replace a small 10-watt starter amp, and all I say is way to go Fender and way to go Guitar Center! Once I plugged my guitar in and played, I loved it. The sound is crisp and full. Two things I love about the amp are the amp settings and the effects. they're perfect. And guitar center gave a great price for. If need an amp to bang your buck this is it!

First and Last Amp EVER

By Newforce

from Clovis, NM

Comments about Fender FM 25 DSP Frontman Combo Amp:

This amp needed a 6 star rating but there are only 5 stars available. This is more amp than I had expected and WOW what a price! You can't beat it. I only had the volume to 3 and it was honestly all I needed it at. The effects are great too. Try it on metal with the reverb and the gain of 4... sweet heavy tunes. I love it. If I had to do it all over again, I would still go with this baby.

Great amp for beginners and practice

By Fender #1

from Austin, TX

Comments about Fender FM 25 DSP Frontman Combo Amp:

I purchased this amp with a Fender Standard Stratocaster as my first electric guitar and amp. I've only been playing 6 months, so I am not going to be able to compare it to any other amps. From my experience, this amp has been great. I chose this amp because of the different amp types and effects built-in. I play to get away from life and to relax, and have no interest in playing gigs, therefore I'm not going to buy seperate distortion or effects pedals. It has an excellent Fender clean channel, and I personally enjoy the Hot Rod amp type for most of my music. The Briish and Metal amp types work well if you want a little dirtier tone, but wouldn't choose this amp based on those types alone. I use the Acoustic simulator regularly as well. It works well in most cases, and any time I'm not satisfied with the sound, I just go back to my acoustic. I rarely use an effect outside of reverb, but the delay, chorus, flange, and tremolo work well when needed. I use this amp in my apartment, and it has more than enough power for me. I did crank it on occasion, and the amp types start to sound bad above 7, but I rarely go above 3. I would think this amp would be fine for anyone to practice on and be fine at a small club if you have an additional sound system to plug into. Hope this helps someone!

Excellent Amp

Comments about Fender FM 25 DSP Frontman Combo Amp:

I got this amp for Christmas two year ago and am thoroughly impressed with it. It is very loud for its size, so loud that I put the volume on 3/10 and it shakes the walls of my basement. The effects come in handy, and the British setting is amazing. I would definately reccomend this anp to any level of guitarist.

Comments about Fender FM 25 DSP Frontman Combo Amp:

This amp has so many FX features and sound configuration. It has fun tones like reverb-delay, it is sort of heavy but the power makes up for it.

i got this amp for christmas 3 years ago and love it! when i got the amp, i was really into classic rock, alternative, and mellow stuff. i play alot of metal and punk now and i still use the same amp without effects pedals. it is the best practice amp for a versatile musician. i definately suggest this amp to any guitar player, starters or pro players.

The Ultimate Amp, for Beginners.

By Tyler Wilks

from Michigan

Comments about Fender FM 25 DSP Frontman Combo Amp:

This is really good amp for beginners who don't know what style of music they want to play. You don't want this amp if you know what tone you want or effects you like. One negative is the Effects Delay Reverb and Chorus are all fine but the Flange overpowers your guitar the Tremolo has only two settings fast and slow. But if you what a good practice amp, just plug in your guitar and play.
