The Deluxe Strat has a few tricks up its sleeve. Special switching unlocks extra pickup combinations for those moments you find yourself needing a little extra kick to stand out. Combining noise-free performance with enhanced playing comfort, this sleek instrument is a truly deluxe performer that excels on stage and in the studio.
Three Vintage Noiseless pickups offer all the clarity and articulation you’ve come to expect from Strat pickups—with no hum. A push/push mini-switch discretely tucked away between the tone controls, yet still easy to reach, activates the bridge pickup in positions four and five on the selector. Use the bridge and neck pickups together or combine all three pickups for flexible tone that can meet the needs of any song. Enjoy smoother travel when using the tremolo bridge, thanks to the modern two-point synchronized design, which includes bent steel saddles for classic aesthetics. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck.
The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out. Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzzfree playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes. Melding classic Fender style and sound with upgraded modern components, the Deluxe Strat is perfect for players who need a wide variety of authentic Fender tones on tap.

Comments about Fender Deluxe Rosewood Fingerboard Stratocaster:
I had watched a couple of online gear reviews about this new strat, and read completely through the specs and really dug what I saw other than the 70's headstock. Just not a fan of them. The specs couldn't lie, on paper, this was a great buy. I've played 27 years and have never received locking tuners on any of my (9 at the moment) guitars. Nice feature. String changes are a breeze. The vintage noiseless pick ups are the real deal. Same as Clapton and Johnson use---again quality components. Now add in the mini push-pot in to add 2 new pickup combinations---didn't think it'd interest me the two new combos are quite musical and easy way to add a couple more tones playing. Bridge and neck, or all 3...roll the tone knobs around a bit and I'm sure you will find something useful as well. 12- inch finger board radius make it extremely easy to play and the heel of the neck is contoured for playing in the upper registers.
Beautiful finish, no fret issues. Quality guitar all the around a. Figure those mods done on a standard MIM strat, and you'll wind up with at least a $1500 to have the same options. Quality gig bag included
