I just wanted a cheap guitar...I've got a Casino, Strat, Royal dobro, and an Epiphone 12-String...but I wanted a "knock around" guitar...I just love this thing...very playable...good to work out songs on and then grab the Strat without much transition in fingering...would have preferred the black but all they had on hand at the store was natural...no big deal though...I put the strap locks on it so I can sling it case-less and bring it with on the bike or by the pool...without being overly worried about its cost and safety. I know I will have this one for the duration.

Keeping it real: I kinda preferred the sound of Epiphone's similar models, (PR/DG), but they felt kind of cheap..had that laminate texture..and Fender necks just seems to work perfectly for me.

The Strap Button on the Top...by the Heel...I much prefer that to connecting at the Head.

DG-60

I love this guitar sounds good and everything but the only problem I have with it is that the finish is cracking by its self and i only had it for like 2 months

I got this to learn on. Great guitar, I did get some extra light stings to help me mash them more easy. I always try to spend 30 minutes a day to practice, but, that turns into an hour before I know it, cannot put it down, love this guitar and the sound does not sound like a cheap guitar. I recommend this to anybody wanting to learn to play

Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:

Sounds like it has solid top. The looks is nice, and build quality is excellent. This is the better guitar than the FA-100. I also tested the yamaha FG 335 and the Epiphone pro.. This fender was a clear winner. The best guitar at this price range.

Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:

Got it as a gift for my boyfriend. Tried it out in the store and instantly fell in love with the sound. Great guitar for beginners learning to play, as well as experienced players. Only thing is that you have to tune it frequently but that tends to happen to new guitars and will be better over time.

Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:

On a whim, I decided to pick up guitar. I have musical experience in piano and violin and I wanted to expand my repertoire. I saw this guitar on sale and picked it up because reviews said it was great for beginners, and it really is. It was set up very well and was easy to fret. I would definitely recommend this for a beginner. As it's only been a couple weeks, I don't know what the future holds for this guitar, but I don't foresee it being replaced in the near future

Comments about Fender DG-60 Acoustic Guitar:

I am a 14 year old boy who wanted an acoustic guitar cheap. It was about 160 and it was the best choice i ever made! I wanted to learn and it is perfect for first timers. The action was great out of the box and it came with a decent quality strings on it. It also has a very power full sound. My cousin had a Martin, but the Fender had a better neck then it did. Amazing quality for the price!
