Great Value

By Rick Golden

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I visited guitar center several times to try the different acoustics they have in stock. Each time I played for about an hour trying any and all brands. I noticed that after playing the DG200SCE that each time before I would leave I always picked this guitar up for the final play. I am on a limited budget (imagine that in this economy) but was determined to get a quality sounding guitar even if I had to save more before the purchase. I started researching this model and had trouble getting information because it was not listed in the fender site but he sound kept drawing me back. I bought the guitar because it sounds better than most guitars at two to three times the price. I must say that after several months of playing it I am so happy with the purchase. I have received many complements on the sound. This is a great value and I DO recommend it.

WOW!

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I had to buy an acoustic guitar because I was accompanying one of my friends at a show. I talked to my cousin because he knows a lot about guitars. He recommended Takmine. I looked and played a lot of them in my price range and I wasn't real impressed. Then this Fender caught my eye. It looked really nice! Not only did it look nice but it played so nice! I thought "wow there's no way that this guitar is in my price range." I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price tag! I had been working all summer to find a quality guitar with a decent price and I finally found one. With an acoustic electric you really get the best of both worlds. You can just sit down and play whatever, or you can hook it into an amp and play a show. The tuner on the guitar is really handy. It tunes very accurately and I really like it. When you play the guitar it just feels natural. I think that if you're looking for a nice guitar this one is it! Hope this helped!

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

In my opinion, Fender makes great sounding guitars with great looks! This guitar produces warm balanced tone. The neck is very comfortable to hold and the cutaway gives great access to the upper frets. This guitar is very affordable and offers a well made instrument and everything you could want. I'm very pleased with this guitar!

One of the best and easiest guitars I have ever played!

By Jack Pike

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I have been playing the guitar off and on for about 25 years, I own a Gibson J-45, which I bought in 1992 from Guitar Center, I would not trade it for the world, but the Fender DG200SCE I just bought, actually sounds better than my Gibson. I find myself practicing and playing my Fender more than my Gibson. The rosewood back makes the sound of the guitar so awesome. When I am playing gigs, other guitartists want to play my Fender, I always let them try it out, and everyone cannot believe the sound. The thin rosewood neck makes the guitar so easy to play, and there is no vibration from the strings. Wheather you are playing the Fender DC200SCE, accoustically or electirc, the sound is so good and warm. I like the onboard turner, it sure makes it easy to keep your guitar in tune, wheather on stage, the studio, or at home. I would highly reccomend this guitar to anyone, who is serious about purchasing a quality instrument. Personally I use Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Strings, it makes the guitar sound even better.......George

Best Around!!!

By Brian Trettenero

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I went to Guitar Center A couple months ago with a handful of hundreds SET on buying a Takamine Acoustic Electric. I sat down and started playing every guitar on the wall in my price range 0-550$. I narrowed my selection down to this guitar and the CD220 (which in my opinion looks better on the wall than in your hands). I ended up choosing this one because of its brighter tone as compared to the CD220 & still looked as beautiful. I've got friends with high end Takamines, Ive got friends with high end Martins and they are JEALOUS of my Fender. I now pick up and play this guitar as often as i do my Gibson Les Paul and SG guitars. The only downside i can see is that the tuner is completely useless when tuning to anything other than standard, which is avoidable if you tune to alt. tunings off of E by ear. My advice to you is this "Buy This Guitar!"

this is a really good guitar. it is very sturdy. i have dropped it pretty hard couple of times and still going on strong. the tuner is ok and the action is a little too high but who gets a perfect guitar right out of the box? the sound quality is very nice and full. overall i would recommend it.

AWESOME_FENDER

By Tom Graves

from Davenport, Iowa

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I went to Guitar Center to pick up some strings for my other acoustic, the Alverez that I bought in 1977, sounds real sweet to this day. I went in to the acoustic room just to check the wood out. I picked up the Fender electric and run it through the acoustic amp and I was blown away. The playability and feel of the neck was great, smooth and set up right. I would buy it again. I just went there for strings. So I am telling you go buy this Fender Guiitar, you will not be sorry!

Fender Acoustic-Electric Guitar

By Eric Cardoza

from Plant City Florida

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I recently bought this guitar, and this was exactly what I was looking for. The neck is very easy to handle, has a very nice tone, low-action, a solid spruce top, and it just looks amazing! I am very pleased because this guitar plays as well as some Gibson, and Taylors! This Fender is reccomended for begginers, and pros.

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

Went to GC and played 7-10 guitars all in this price range and the Fender was so easy to play and sounded amazing. This is a great guitar, that in my opinion outplayed the other guitars in this price range. A GREAT value.

Plan on buying

By Coose

from Jacksonville, FL

Comments about Fender DG-200SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Rosewood Back and Sides:

I've been saving my money to buy a Martin HPL model but after playing this fine guitar last night I am planning on buying another fender acoustic. I must say it plays like a mid level Martin or Taylor. I already own a Fender DG-1 that sports a laminate top and I have been pleased with it so far but it doesn't possess the warm tones of a solid top. Fender made this 200 SCE with value and quality in mind. I guess we will see in 20 years or so how this model ages, I'm looking forward to finding out!
