I love the the body and smaller neck. Good for smaller hands. I did not like the tuning keys or the humbucker pickup. The single coil sounds good. Therefore, I installed Planet Waves tuning keys and a Dimarzio DP192 double coil pickup in it. The new Dimarzio DP110 single coil is on the way. This has taken an interesting guitar and made it great! Like I said, they got the neck and body right. Now it has the electronics to match. I love this guitar and am very happy I did not have to settle for a just another Strat.
I've owned this guitar for almost two years now and it is still my main instrument. I own multiple fenders and the the Cyclone is by far the most versatile. It will put out any kind of tone you ask of it. I play through a Fender 65 Twin Reverb with an MXR distortion pedal and it does everything from brilliant snappy clean to fat down and dirt sounds. It will play rock, metal, blues, jazz, everything! The humbucker in the bridge is hot and great for the leads, and the Tex Mex single coil in the neck position gives that classic Fender vibe. I would highly recommend this guitar. It's the most versatile bang for your buck guitar around!
