Absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe that this guitar was for the price range. I bought mine for just about half the price... I tried about every other telecaster at the store without looking at price tags [even though I knew what I was playing]. The moment I played this guitar, I knew. Playability - second to none [sanded neck helps]. Sound - When I plugged it in [Hot Rod Deluxe], great versatility. Might look into changing the pickups later on... but for now I'm one happy camper. Would recommend this guitar to anyone - absolutely great guitar.
This guitar has been with me for a good 7 years now with no major problems so far. I play in a band that demands jazz, blues, funk, you name it. This guitar is the only one I bring to gigs anymore. The versatility is like no other, and produces a warm, brilliant sound. If you don't own a tele, please do yourself a favor and BUY IT!
Currently playing second guitar in a blues-Rock Band. I`m a strat player all the way. I was looking for a second guitar and think I have found a great one.Playability is amazing on this guitar, your hand glides across the neck.Great sustain for sound being a semi-hollowbody.You get three distinct tones from this guitar which makes evrything as simple as needed on stage.Great guitar at a great price ! Great job Fender.
Fender guitars are known for playability and inexpensiveness. For a price way less than a run-of-the-mill stratocaster, you can get a guitar with infinately better tone, superior sustain, amazing harmonics and great humbuckers. the semi-hollow body is amazing, it adds so much to the instrument.
This guitar is beautiful and sounds beautiful as well. I got this guitar due to the versatility of the guitar. It has a awesome bright tone due to the single coils. It sounds great with johnny cash and elvis. I love this guitar!! if you have even considered buying this guitar do it!
This guitar is unbeleivable. You can play almost anything through it. i played some Rage Against the machine, some hendrix, some sabbath, and even zeppelin, and it sounded great. When i tried it, i played it through the fender champ tube amp. also quite a good piece of equipment. this guitar is light as a feather, and sounds great to. So if you don't own a tele, or really like tele's, and have the money, get this guitar. also, look into the champ. these two are a great combo.
A month ago I order a natural 69 from my local guitar center. I received it and was blown away by its beauty. I played it unplugged and its note definition rang true. I took it home and played it through my fender hot rod and and was shocked at how quiet the guitar was! There was little to no single coil hum, even at high volumes. The neck played smooth and quick, with a lot of that tele spank we know and love. I've been thinking about throwing in some vintage noisless pickups for when I dab into higher gain, but I have not yet added them to this beauty. I may also add brass saddles to add to the vintage vibe. But out of the box this is an amazing axe, and for under a grand its a steal, its practically a crime not to get this tele! It has the tone, the feel, and the price tag.
