It's sad that such a famed guitar maker could not do it's pics justice. Picslide with these at all and you're gonna find yourself grabbing a new pic. These do not hold up nearly as well as they should. I went through about 24 of these guys in a few monts. I don;t mean used lightly and replaced, i mean that these were SHREDDED afterwords. I would go with the Dunlop Tortex easily.

Very Suprised and happy

By Gary Tompkins

Comments about Fender Classic Celluloid Confetti Guitar Pick 12-Pack:

One of the often overlooked skills in playing guitar is pick control. This is obvious to an experienced player but not so for the beginner. For 20 years I have avoided celluloid picks because of there tendency to be to "harsh" on the attack and lack of flexibility. The Fender picks are amazingly controllable. I use the thin picks which have plenty of bite when pounding the strings but enough flex to remain in control and in your grip. When picking I grip closer to the tip, that gives me a nice clean strike on the string. While strumming I grip higher which gives me a clean sweep across the strings and the pick flexes just enough not to fly from my hand. I have also never broken one yet. I have about 3 dozen lying around right now and don't expect to ever switch over again. In summary this pick will flex but has strength. The flex is controllable, the picks stay where you grip them and they won't break easily.

Fender guitar picks

By Amber

from Des Moines, Iowa

Comments about Fender Classic Celluloid Confetti Guitar Pick 12-Pack:

I bought these picks as a gift for someone who does play guitar, and he likes them. My only complaint is that as these were bought on-line, they were shipped to me twice. And that's because whoever packed them just threw them in the box with the other items and the little plastic box came open, spilling all the picks out. They all escaped the box, which was not very securely taped, hence I received no picks. The second attempt at shipping wasn't much better--they were placed in a small box (ever hear of padded envelopes?)and they also escaped the package, but luckily, not the entire box, although 4 of them were visible in the edges of the, again, not very securely taped box. A small piece of tape to secure the pick container itself to prevent it from opening would be an idea.

I like sound of thin picks, had one left for years, hadn't played for awhile, got interested again, I bought others of similar thickness but I like the fender pick the most.

        Classic celluloid with a twist

        By ramlax13

        from NJ

Comments about Fender Classic Celluloid Confetti Guitar Pick 12-Pack:

These picks are the classic fender celluloid with a little twist to them. I love the confetti finish on them. They are so much easier to find on a dark stage. They play amazing with acoustic guitars, the sound and tone is superb. I also enjoy using the heavy gauge when playing my bass guitar which also sounds great. All around good picks, in some cases they are a bit flimsy, but if you can deal with that your tone will be much deeper.

        better than the other brands

        By jack

Comments about Fender Classic Celluloid Confetti Guitar Pick 12-Pack:

i did an experiment i bought a pack of these (thin) and took one out and bought a pack of dunlop tortexs and took one out (.60mm) i was going to see which pick would last longer. I used the dunlop for about two montha until it was almost broken down. I used the fender for 5 months! of course this depends on how much you play but i would go with these they last forever

        Best picks I've used

        By Harvey Duve

        from Waco Texas

Comments about Fender Classic Celluloid Confetti Guitar Pick 12-Pack:

These are the best picks I've used. They last a long time even when playing any genre of metal, blues, etc... The confetti color makes them easy to find as they don't blend in with their surroundings. I always buy the thin thickness and use a piece of emery cloth to conture them into any profile I feel comfortable with. I recomend trying these. The value well exceeds the price.

        Super picks

        By Harvey

        from Waco Texas

Comments about Fender Classic Celluloid Confetti Guitar Pick 12-Pack:

I always buy these celluloid confetti guitar picks because they are very durable. I purchase the thin profile for my Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. They perform well for funky bass lines, and don't break when I throw down on my bass. I also use these picks for my Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro Electric Guitar, and they perform well playing any type of music, from rhythmic country ballads to screaming hard rock. I'd like to add that I purchase 95% of my guitars, picks, and accessories from Guitar Center. Online for the small stuff, so I don't have to run to my local Guitar Center in Waco, TX, just for picks, strings, etc. For Guitars, amps, and any "Big" stuff, I go to my local Guitar Center store, where these folks know their stuff.
