Eminently affordable and modeled closely on Shiflett's favorite '72 Tele Deluxe, it features a striking Arctic White finish, a four-ply white pearl pickguard, a roaring pair of new custom-designed high-output humbucking pickups, a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard for easy bends with low action, custom-stenciled hard-shell case, and Shiflett's signature on the headstock. Tour bus, platinum records and the adulation of millions not included.

Wow! Great value for your $$

Comments about Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar:

If your looking for a guitar with big sound look no further. Straight out the box it sounded great, played easy and looks good doing it. The mids are extremely focused allowing this guitar to cut through any mix. It has very good sustain. Plus it comes with a hard shell case. I'd be hard pressed to find a guitar that sounds this good in this price range.

Shiflettۡs Tele Deluxe

Comments about Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar:

Nice guitar. Some cosmetic Blems on paint. Scratches on top of guitar above pickguard and a couple light ones on the back. On one side a little gap between neck and the body. Last but not least, the hard case looks like it has three little drill holes in it. This guitar came to me in a box never opened. I like the guitar and it sounds good. I think the Quality could have been a lot better. Not GC fault.I gave it a four.I could have given it a three.

Comments about Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar:

Nice guitar and a nice player. A space between neck and body. Some cosmetic blems. The case had three little drill holes on it. Was not impressed with the quality of the product from Fender.

Comments about Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar:

I picked this baby up as a deeply discounted blemished model. Came in a solid (made in Viet Nam) case ... very nice ... opened the case, and I was stunned. It was gorgeous! Gloss arctic white body, with a pearloid pickguard, set against a rosewood / maple, fretboard / neck with chrome hardware and black knobs. The stock tuners are accurate, and give a vintage look. It weighs 8.25 lbs, which compared to a les Paul ain't bad ... overall ... instant love. . So at first glance I could find no blemish! Then I examined it ... Found a blob of finish on the fret board, fret ends needed filing and it needed a MAJOR set-up. So ... I got to work. Fixed the frets. Changed the strings to D'Addario 10 gauge NYXL's, adjusted the relief, set the string height (to get rid of all the buzz I had to set it at just over 4/64's, which is OK), set the humbucker height ... it became playable but ... didn't sound great. WTH! Humbuckers were hot enough, 250k pots were fine, there were no grounding issues ... but it lacked mids and lows though it had plenty of fender zing ... The cure ... string saver classic saddles 2 1/16 spread. The stock bent steel saddles it comes with are worthless junk ... Now it sounds great! Not only are there mids and lows but sustain was greatly improved... I took off the metric black toggle switch tip and put on a white one. I also swapped out the black witch hats for jazz master white ones (Not only do they look better but they are easier to read) ... The guitar now plays like butter, sounds awesome, and looks great. On the one hand, I wish fender Mexico (or GC) gave a hoot about quality control ... But if they did I never would have been able to buy this guitar. So what's the moral? If you are handy at modding gits and can find this guy at a discount then jump on it like arctic white on a tele deluxe!
