Last week I had bought a Epiphone PR-150 which I thought was good but I ended up returning it. I ordered this one instead because at heart, I am a 100% Fender guy and I also was mesmerized by the Mahoghany finsh. Mine came in yesterday and I could not be any happier than a pig in you know what ! I'm 55 years old and have been playing guitar for 43 years and IMO, this is the best sounding Acoustic I have ever laid my hands on. I can't believe that this is only a 300 dollar instrument , not with all of the extras that are included such as the Hardshell case and the Allen wrench for the truss rod and also, the extra bridge saddle as well. It only took a few minutes to do a height adjustment to fit my personal settings and a quick string change and I was on my way. This guitar exudes tone in spades along with some serious sustain for a acoustic. Plus the built in tuner works amazingly well. The Fishman pickup is a work of art and sounds just great through my Fender Champion 30 Combo although I do plan to invest in a Fender Acoustasonic amp in the very near future. I have been playing no-stop and it is my new No.1 Thanks Fender for such a fine instrument which will bring me years of joy.

Ok, it is made by Yamaha, that's a plus, but it's not a solid top guitar. Even their FG-800 was a questionable move because you lost the sparkling highs of the previous FG700s. A laminate is plywood, put a mahogony veneer on it and it still is. Get the sitka spruce model instead.

I recently purchased this guitar and brought it to a small party last week. We had about 5 guitarist there, everyone wanted to play the Fender. These are Taylor and Martin guys who love this guitar. I would recommend this to all guitarist from novice to pro. This is the best value purchase I have ever made.

            Comments about Fender CD60CE All-Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar looks, plays and sounds great. The case is nice too. My only complaint is that the photo that Guitar Center shows is not what the guitar looks like. The actual guitar has a very symmetrical running grain, not as nice as the photo.

              Comments about Fender CD60CE All-Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I already had a couple of other Acoustic Guitars ... but when I picked this one up and played it, it had just such a nice feel and sound that I had to have it ... the action is awesome ... I have arthritis and so had been playing a nylon string for that reason. After having played this guitar for over a month now it is even easier on my hands than playing the nylon ... it has quickly become my favorite go to guitar ... just can't put it down !!!

                Comments about Fender CD60CE All-Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Stunning looks. Have known that it's an inexpensive axe good enough for gigs. The all laminate mahogany & scalloped bracing makes all the difference. I appreciate quality period, thus will play this along with my Martins, Guilds, and
Master class Breedloves. Guitar has a warm pronounced sound unique with mahogany. Have yet to test equalizer to see if it will cut through the.mix effectively. Can't wait to plug into my big
Rig and play lead on this puppy. Quite tickled that it came with a nice hardshell case. Oh, cheap looking pickguard!
