Went to my local music store cos i wanted to buy a mid quality accoustic (had in mind the Epiphone Hummingbird.
When i got to the store there was this guy that was noodling around and was a good player so i got him to play a couple guitars .....
The hummingbird was in my taste very trebly ........
Then i got him to play a Guild, a Boucher and a Larivée all three great sounding and quite expensive guitars.
Then i asked him to try the cd 60 and i couldn't believe how well it stood against these great guitars ...........
I bought it right away at a ridiculously low price and the next week bought the 12 string cd120 for not much more ...........
Great guitars ..
My only concern is I just hope they age well........
Well i've been playing these for around 3 years now (I Think) and they are still perfect .......... No issues!!

This was my very first acoustic guitar. I am very unpleased in its performance. I first tried to plug it into my laptop's USB drive, but the adapter that came with it was far too wrong. So now I am just using this guitar as a table for me to set my Slim Fast on.

Comments about Fender CD-60 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Love the guitar. Good look and feel. Also has a very nice tone to it! The only con I have is after playing a song w a lot of strumming in it, the guitar tends to go out of tune. You can hear halfway through a song that the pitch has changed slightly. Needs a re-tune about every two songs.

I was told not to waste my money on a cheap acoustic. I have to tell you, I'm glad I "wasted" my money on this acoustic. The sound is full and throaty. Definitely worth what I paid and more.

Comments about Fender CD-60 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I have been a weekend warrior for over 30 years and have played many different guitars in that time. A few years ago I recommended this guitar to one of my young beginning guitar students. When I got to play it after they purchased it I was surprised at how well it played and how nice it looked. Now, after two years of use by a grade-schooler (who probably doesn't take the best care of a guitar), I'm amazed that it still looks great, sounds great and plays great. Even more, it stays in tune. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a starter or intermediate guitar. Heck, it would make a great practice guitar for an experienced player who doesn't want their expensive acoustic sitting around the house.

Comments about Fender CD-60 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Replace the Fender factory strings with Elixirs, and this guitar is worth far more than the asking price IMO. New strings easily add a couple hundred to the sound. Plus the full dreadnought body tends to be very bass-y, so bright Elixir Nanowebs help with that a lot. Had mine for almost 4 years now (it was my starter guitar) and I'm only just starting to be limited by its capabilities. Rings very nicely for a laminated guitar, and harmonics are way easier than they should be on an entry-level. Action is a bit high, but again, not what I would expect for spending so little $$$. Had mine set up at a store and brought it in shortly after I bought it because of a fret buzz, but other than that no problems. I've dropped it, chipped the headstock, and honestly not treated it super well, and it still plays as well as the day I bought it.

If you want a good guitar to jam and get you through your learning years and then some, I HIGHLY recommend this guitar.
