Big fan of this guitar. I first played the blacktop start with the standard trem and I liked it, then I saw this and had to ahve it. The neck is smooth and thin enough for me to fly. Very nice ginish on the back of the neck. The pickups are hot and thick. I can scream and divebomb or play bluesy type riffs. The pickups are very good. Chords cut right through, even with high gain. Guitar is good for lead work too. The floyd special may be a turn off for some, but it is good quality. I played a few of these specials and the arm is lways coming loose, not on this guitar. Fender must have good qaulity control. It stays in tune and you still have good sustain. One thing you may need to do is trim the pickguard a bit because the trem cant push all the way down. No big deal really. Overall this guitar is really impressive. I say its better then the other floyd rose model they sell. The floyd rose is not hard to tune, it takes patience. The the low e and then hight E. Next tune the 5th string(B) second string(A) Next 3rd(g) and fourth(D). You may have to do it a few times, but it will tune.
