Awesome Bass

By Frank Bello

from Brooklyn, NY

I'm a guitarist who likes to record my own music. I was laying down bass tracks with a pretty bad bass that I had. Decided to buy this after reading a review in Premier Guitar magazine. I'm glad I made the decision. I had to adjust the neck when it first came, probably due to the change in climate from where it was shipped to arrival in NYC (bitter cold here). Other than that, I love the pure sound, the very nice set of pickups, the look, the feel, what else can I say?

Musical Wonder

By Frank Bello

from Huntington, NY

I play guitar, not usually bass. But I do my own recordings and have been getting along with a cheaper knock off bass. I decided, wisely, to upgrade. After reading an article in Premier Guitar about this Fender J Bass, I decided this is the one for me. I've had it for a few weeks now and I am quite pleased. Although my bass lines are not exactly Stanley Clark like, they are rather rudimentary, the tonality and quality of the sound is definitely noticeable in my newer recordings.

Great Jazz Bass, Great Price

By Gary Tucker

from Cincinnati, OH

I've been playing my new Fender Blacktop Jazz Bass for a couple weeks and have already written and recorded a song with it. Nice crafsmanship on this Made in Mexico bass. Clean lines, beautiful detailing. Love the growl of the twin split-coil pickups. Nice, thin J-bass neck. Can't believe the features and Fender name for this low price.

AWESOME BASS

By big T

from chicago,il

i have had this bass for about 2 months now and it's awesome,it has a huge junk of metal for the bridge,it has sustain for days.all the frets are perfect ,paint is cool, and it stays in tune. i have the white chrome one it looks like the white sparkle addition of the steve harris blue sparkle bass . two pickups i can get all sorts of cool sounds.its well worth the money for a mim fender LL&R
