SIMPLY FANTASTIC

By William Marion

from Taylor, MI

Comments about Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

I have a small recording studio and try to have guitars that will produce any sound that's needed on a recording. This is also true when it comes to when I'm playing live with a group. My guitars consist of Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster & Telecaster, Fender Jimmy Vaughn signature Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul Classic, PRS McCarty Custom Shop, Ibabez S770PB, and a Pre China Epiphone Les Paul. My only reason for giving information on the guitars I own. Is to demonstrate the quality I have and know something about good guitars. While all of these guitars are great, and have their on place in certain styles. I was wanting a guitar that was a semi-hollow body, since that has a sound all it's on. It should be noted that I had a Gibson ES-335, which is more than a thousand dollars over the Vintage Fender Thinline 72 Telecaster. Even so, this has to be one of the best guitars I have ever played, in both sound and ease of playing. I sold the Gibson ES-335 in order to purchase this Fender. The only thing heavy about this guitar is the sound, since the weight feels like your not holding a double humbucker guitar. Mine is the natural finish, and it is a work of art. This is a huge statement I'm going to make, but it's true. Since I have so many guitars, amps, recording equipment, etc in my studio. I have insurance on everything I own. Due to purchasing the PRS used, I wrote PRS on what the value was. They told me that $3,550.00 would be an honest figure for the price. This is nearly 3 times the cost of the Vintage Fender Thinline 72 guitar. Even so, I would let the PRS go before I would this Fender. If that doesn't tell you how great I think this guitar is, then nothing I say would prove it's value to me. You won't be sorry if your looking for a fantastic guitar.

Comments about Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

this tele plays great right out of the box. Its light as a feather, the semi hollow body gives it air & great sustain. The wide range humbuckers together make for great chord sounds.I actually enjoy playing it unpluged.
