This TELE is a real player.

Comments about Fender American Standard Telecaster Left-Handed Electric Guitar with Maple Fingerboard:

I played one all day at the GC, then traded in my other Tele for this one. I got the 3 tone sunburst because to my ears it sounded a little warmer. Probably because the body is select swamp ash on the sunburst models. Anyway, Im a weekend gigging country chicken picker for the last 30 years and I can tell you Fender killed it with this guitar. First off the "gearheads" are gonna talk this one down because Fender strayed a little off the vintage tele path with this one. But IMO they made it better all the way around. The belly cut is a very nice addition. Its barely noticable to the looker but when you sit down to practice OMG it feels so good you wont put it down. The pick ups are spot on. The Broadcaster pup is what it is, and thats a very very good thing. Everything Telecaster is known for with no noise. The real surprise is the Strat like Twisted Tele Custom Shop neck pick up. Its more open and clear, no vintage muddy sound here. The balance is so good between the Broadcaster and the Twisted Tele its a dream setup. You dont have to roll back the highs on the bridge and then roll back the volume on the neck just to keep your sound even now. They are so well balanced you just switch and play like magic and nothing is missing in the tone. The middle setting with both pups is worth the money by itself. Now the neck on this thing is thin. A modern players version of Telecaster for sure. Its smooth as glass and ultra fast. After 30 minutes alone with this thing and you will be in love. Craftsmanship on this neck and frets is as good as Ive seen ever! It really feels and sounds like custom shop guitar work for production guitar price. No dainty little vintage guitar case either. This is a gigging players guitar and Fender sends it out with their version of an ATA flight case. Yes its plastic, bulky, and ugly but its built like a tank to keep your new baby safe. Its way over built so you should be able to get plenty of milage out of it too. Soo If your looking for a great left handed tele grab this one. The quality of mine is a 10 all the way across the board so you cannot go wrong with this Tele. Thank you Fender for giving Lefty's a great guitar and thank you GC for making them affordable.....Play on ;-0

Comments about Fender American Standard Telecaster Left-Handed Electric Guitar with Maple Fingerboard:

The craftsmanship on this guitar is superb. Factory set-up was very good, I put on 10-46 gauge strings and made minor intonation adjustments. Action was perfect. This guitar sounds clear and clean, stays in tune, and the neck is like butter. Very low-noise pickups. I love the new contour on the back. This guitar is true Fender all the way.

Comments about Fender American Standard Telecaster Left-Handed Electric Guitar with Maple Fingerboard:

Lots of nice upgrades. Very comfortable neck, plays like butter, and the pickups sound great. Great vintage tone without all the 60 cycle hum. The belly cut is a good idea; makes it a bit more comfortable and knocks off about a half pound of weight.

A great guitar. My first Tele after years of playing a Strat. I couldnt be happier with an instrument. Great Tele sound. Anyone buying this guitar will be very pleased.

The neck feels incredible, very nice polish on it. The saddles are changed to more of a vintage style so they a little rough to your hand but you get use to it quick. The new contoured back was long overdue.
