Best Strat I Have Played Or Owned

By Joseph Constantine

from Tampa, FL

Comments about Fender American Standard Hand-Rubbed Ash Stratocaster HSH Electric Guitar:

This is hands down the best strat I have played or owned period. Extremely versatile and balanced sound. You can get a crunching or heavy humbucker tone, clean, or warm jazzy tones. Mixing the single coil and humbucking pickups produces both clarity and warmth at the same time in a very musical, blended manner. I can't say enough about this guitar. I have owned many guitars over the years, some of them excellent, but there is something special about this limited edition beauty. I would say get one while they last! Can't believe I'm not hearing more about this guitar! I would guess many are skeptical about the hsh configuration (as I was at first) but really, once I played it at GC, I don't know how I ever tolerated the SSS or other traditional set ups all of this time!
