The Fenderr Acoustasonic 15 is a nice little amp that fills the need for someone who needs to balance guitar and vocals loud enough to play a room of 25 people or so. I use mine as a practice amp in the living room. I prefer to practice singing through a PA since I find it very different from singing into the air. This amp allows me to set up quickly and get a decent acoustic guitar sound in seconds. Plug in a mic and I'm good to go. The only downside is the absence of reverb (and the addition of chorus). If this amp had reverb it would have been the perfect small amp - I don't know what Fender was thinking by opting for chorus instead. Oh well, maybe version 2.0 will add reverb. You would be hard pressed to find a better small PA for the price.

Cute little amp with a Fender logo...it's supposed to be 15 watts but sure didn't sound like it...sound wasn't much loder than my acoustic guitar unplugged...sound was very muffled...couldn't correct even with the EQ knobs...maybe a small tweeter would help...might be good for home practice in a pinch...there are better small amps out there, but you'll have to spend more...the Crate Taxi 15 comes to mind...I took a gamble...thanks to MF for their excellent return policy

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

Does the trick, but is not loud at all. The sound is crisp and clear, just not very loud. I did not give it 5 stars only due to the not so impressive volume

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

Great little amp. Nice XLR mic input is clean and blends well with guitar channel. Nice little chorus built-in. Works exceptionally well with a magnetic soundhole pickup also. The It does have a little bit of hum at low volume.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I used this amp at an outdoor party, with drums, bass and guitar, and it functioned surprisingly well considering its small size. Vocals came through clearly, once we realized that the amp goes in front of the mikes! I expected the little thing to be overwhelmed, but it held its own. I am considering buying one of its big brothers now that I have seen what it can do. It's not for electric guitars, but in a small venue like a cookout, it rules. Oh, the marvelous amps Fender comes up with these days. The brown color scheme also brings back memories of my old Vibrasonic!

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

While I'm no where near being a pro, I know the sound I want from my amp and guitar. With this amp I got exactly the sound I was looking for. I know the match with my guitar (Ibanez) was the payoff but regardless of the guitar if you want rich sound this amp will give you that. No reverb on it but that's not what I was looking for anyway. Great sound great price and after all it's Fender.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

Works well with blanced XLR dynamic microphones but does not have the 48 volt phantom power that is necessary for use with condenser microphones. I had to make my own XLR cable adapter that connects to an external 48 volt power supply. Other than this minor inconvenience it is a great practice amplifier.
