I have used this pick occasionally when I want a finger picked type sound over the years. Premium celluloids produce a brighter tone. I have never broken or bent this or any pick in a way that damaged it in 12 years of playing all styles of music. I seriously wonder about the experience level and playing style of those who complain about that problem. they do wear the tip down a little faster than other types of picks. not too bad but I like the dunlop delrins much better.

Decent, good looking picks

By Clifford Koehler

from Tempe

I have these picks in Red and Blue, both in Medium. I have have actually been using one of each for over a few months now, one on with Yamaha acoustic and one with my Gibson Les Paul, and the two picks are still holding up.

Good enough

By that guy

from Undisclosed

They're not that great as far as endurance goes, I mean, I had a light for a few months and it just broke in half. My other fender light is fine though...guess that one already had a crack or something...they hold up pretty well though, and the lights are great for tremolo picking. Plus they just look great

Just average

By CaMkEr1317

They are great and all but they wear down esaily! They have really cool colors though, I would reccommend pink or blue! They are just ok picks. I was dissapointed. And for how bad the quality is they should be less expensive. I got them for $5.99.

dont get red

By sixwings

from Cary, NC

I have pink in these and they are really great. A couple practices ago, I forgot my pick. I borrowed my friend's California Clear that was red. It left marks on my guitar. Now everyone askes me why i colored on my guitar with red marker. I would get a new pick guard but I need a new guitar anyways. So everythings great except for red. I don't even know where she got red though.

Pretty good

By thesoulman

from Buffalo, NY

I bought a 12 pack of these Fender California Blue picks at best buy for $3. They're pretty descent, but when I play some songs that require a lot of picking like "Breed" by Nirvana the plastic at the tip starts to wear fast. Also when I play some Nirvana jam sessions the pick starts to wear out. But they've lasted 6 months, so they're pretty good and cool looking too.

Average Picks

By electrify

from CA

The Fender 351 California Clear picks are not the BEST picks I have ever used, but they will do. I bought the medium gauged picks about a year ago, and every 2 weeks a pick would either be bent, or would break. Maybe a heavier gauge would work better. I wouldn't strongly recommend these picks.

They just break

By ginthe404

from Undisclosed

The fender 351 California Picks are fine if you want to be frustrated. It does not take very long before these picks break apart while playing. I even tried some thicker sizes but got the same results
