think twice

Ok, so the Fender Vintage Voltage cables look really cool, right? Please don't let that get in the way of buying something else. I have not, nor do I know of, one of these cables that still works well. They aren't durable at all. They don't like to coil properly, they don't seem to like acoustic-electrics. They can give you rugburn on your hands! No additional features like mute switch or gold contacts. And they are expensive to boot! But they are so pretty!

A "decent" cable....

Its definitely better than any off brand cable, but it still isnt as good as you would think. It does give some kind of carpet burn, and the lining of the cloth may start to kinda unravel through the years. It doesn't coil correctly, and I just dont think they are worth this much money. If you have no other choice, its not that bad of a cable, but I would prefer a Monster cable over this any day.

Vintage Voltage Cable

Looks unbelievable cool,works well and really holds up.I connect one of my five custom stratocasters to my twin amp and the vintage vibe is right there.I've had no trouble with the two that I have and like all Fender products that I have used they are simply great.

A Classic

Ah yes, its 1962 all over again. Old school style with modern Fender quality. Goes well with my tweed guitar case, tweed amp, tweed strap, tweed t-shirt and tweed jacket.

Great Tone

These caable have an excellent tone, very warm and bassey sound. I have a hard to adjusting to other cables nowadays. My only problem has been the sensitivity of these things, the crackle alot if your not careful with them. Bu the sound is undeniable to me.
